Our main club activities include biweekly meetings, a monthly activity, fundraising events, and the Annual Severe Weather Symposium in March. Meeting attendance is not required but we urge members to try to attend each meeting so they can stay up-to-date on all activities. We are looking forward to hosting several guests throughout the year to discuss their different career positions in the meteorological field. Each month we plan an activity to help relieve some of the stress of school. For example, in October we went to the Haunted Hoochie House, in December we went ice-skating, and we also toured the Wilmington National Weather Service, Wright Patterson Air Force Base, OSU’s Byrd Polar Research Center,
