Great small venue. Allows you to get close to the performer. Good strong drinks which is good since you'll be paying about $8 for a well pour.

Great gig venue, poor front of house. Gig was great, intimate, decent beer. Front of house staff (both security and ticket checking) were incredibly rude to a friend who didn’t have the right ID. Very unhelpful and unresponsive to questions. Went home to get different ID but staff continued to be unpleasant and aggressive which was an unfortunate start to a great gig.

If you can catch a band you know here, take the opportunity. Small venue with a full service bar. Usually can interact with band after due to the close proximity. Great spot.

Small, intimate music venue with a nice little bar. It can get a bit crowded, but is always a good place to be.

I watched my favorite Norwegian singer, Dagny, in this venue mid-2017. Very cozy inside. A small gathering area with a small stage where you are armsreach away from your idol. In fact, I would definitely come back here some time just to discover other new promising artists. They didn't have the beer that my boyfriend wanted but they offered something of the same kind and so much better. I wish I had a chance to ask for the beer name.

Abysmal sound system. Staff seems good. Bartenders are friendly and attentive.

A lot of bands come through here. Do not come alone though because bar and standing area is boring as heck. More like a transient empty space. Standoffish employees. Favorite moment..walking to Katz deli next door in between sets for a kosher hot dog.

One of my favorite small venues in NYC. Was fortunate to see the white stripes with the yeah yeah yeahs first ever performance as the opener here.
