Amazing staff! I brought one of my dogs in, thinking it was the best choice for him, they were very understanding did not make me feel bad or guilty in any way about surrendering my dog they were very kind when I called to check on my dog the lady gave me a full update about the hour he has been there again I was very emotional She called me back and mentioned a couple solutions to the issue that caused me to bring him there and told me that if I wasn't sure about the choice I made that I could come back for him no problem they stayed open past close. So I immediately went and got my dog back from the shelter and the staff again was amazing. They gave me information I needed to help make it work with my dog and reassured me that if I had any questions or needed anything just call. I thought I was doing the right thing for my dog but I was wrong and even tho I surrendered him to the shelter I realized I made the WRONG decision but they did not punish me instead I got a 2nd chance! ❤ they truly care about All the Animals and the people! THEY ARE TRULY AMAZING PEOPLE! I can't thank them enough for staying open so I could make right on the very wrong choice I made!
Wonderful staff that really care for you and more importantly the animals!
The volunteers are wonderful and are engaged, even excited to help you find a match for your needs. The place was clean but poorly organized, the animals seem well cared for though and adoption prices are reasonable.
Went in to adopt a dog, drove 2 hours to the shelter after calling to assure I could bring the dog I was interested in home. Only to find out when arrived that the dog I was interested in was unable to be adopted due to a medical issue. Was able to negotiate to bring her home with me but wish they had told me ahead of time of this. The area in which I was introduced to the dogs was disgusting covered in dog feces with terrible amounts of flies.
Was not impressed.
Love to be with animals it's great there
I helped a friend adopt a dog from here. I feel we were mislead about the animal. After she paid for the dog and was walking out the door, the staff forgot his was sick, with Lyme's, and had to go find his medication. His nails were incredibly long, the inside of his ears were so dirty, and he needed a bath before entering her home. They didn't provide a fenced in area to do a meet and greet with her current dog so we chose to walk them around (by the dumpster) to see if they were a good fit.
The staff seemed caring but definitely not as organized as other shelters I work with.
A low-kill shelter: euthanasia only due to extreme aggression and severe illness/disease. Phenomenal and knowledge staff.
Very nice helpful people
Helpful friendly place

Had a nice set up for the animals
The place to find an awesome pet
Girl behind the counter was rude. Sat there for a while before my mother told her name again. Seemed very uninterested in what we where telling her. Kinda wish I brought my cats else where
