Psalm 23:4 Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me.

Ross Perot passed away today at 89 years old after a 5 month battle with Leukemia. His family are in our thoughts.

Perot was an entrepreneur, self-made billionaire, philanthropist, patriot, humanitarian, and much more. He became a multimillionaire the day his company, Electronic Data Systems, went public in 1968. Many of his colleagues describe him as a man whose friendship and guidance helped build their careers.

He had humble beginnings growing up in Texas, working a paper ...route, with "never more than one pair of shoes." He joined the U.S. Navy in 1949. He believed in family dinners and giving "the biggest hugs." His daughter Nancy Perot states, "We never doubted that we were the most important things in his life."

His thoughtful, caring spirit and acts - both for his family and the world - leave us with a lasting legacy.
