I was told they had tent sites down by the river. I arrived after dark and could not find the office because of the flood lights that were blinding me from behind the sign.
Foomp...BOOM! Fireworks! Where? Down by the river.
No map, no help, nothing... good bye.
Nice spot, friendly campers! Small area but the owners have contributed so much to the camp grounds. Pool, slip 'n slide, rec hall with pool table and games, cards and books; they also have a tented area with big Jenga, basketball, air hockey and corn hole!
So quaint... clean.. friendly.... Ericka and Heath take care of this place like a cute Bed and Breakfast instead of a campground
Although there was a little mix up with the site, and one guest had already unsuccessfully tried a site that had become too muddy, the campground host worked out an alternative site, and the site owners took care of the muddy site in the next day or two. Wi-fi is good at this campground (compared to others). Also, very convenient to north central Vermont cities and attractions. Some road noise at some of the sites, but hey that's why ear plugs were created. Level sites with mostly shade. Who could ask for more?
Great spot right off Rt.2 in Central Vermont (Marshfield). Helpful, responsive owners who live on site. Property is well-maintained. Level RV sites, most with at least some shade. Easy access to many area attractions (Cabot Creamery, Groton State Forest - Owl's Head) and good restaurants. Price is very reasonable for full hookup. Would come back again without a doubt!
I visited here for a Labor Day weekend getaway and had a GREAT time. This is a very cute, well maintained campground with a very personal touch and the lication is great. Has the real feel of Vermont yet close enough to stores if you need anything. The owners are very accommodating and go out of their way to make sure all is well with all parties staying with them. We rented the fifth wheel they have available to rent at a VERY resonable price. Thank you Meadowcreast for a fun, relaxing long weekend.
Nice little camp ground. Friendly owners.
This is great little campground. It's run by a couple and they live on site, the trees on the RV sites kept out RV so much cooler then other parks we ahve been at, they are so nice and you can't beat the views or the price! We will be back!
Amazing place, perfectly setup for what I needed on a bicycle tour, including a rec room and free showers. The owners are great, very hospitable.
The address is wrong but the campground is great as well as the owners. Go to their website for the correct address. Marshfield,Vt.
