Good food - bangers and mash are terrific! They bring in fun entertainment - a good time for sure. Service is usually very good. Nice dinner / party atmosphere

Charming place. I love the ambiance and mood. The staff is very friendly all 3 times I been there recently. I generally sit at the bar when I'm out as I like to socialize. Dana was engaging and excellent bartender when I was in last week. The food is great as well. Everything I've tried so far I've enjoyed.

Great selection and good food. Just the kind of place I hoped to find while out cruising on the motorcycle for the day. I did hear them telling a lot of folks over the phone that they were booked up for dinner. No idea of that's typical, buy I'd call for reservations of its a weekend. Not a lot of good options nearby.

We were new to town and did not know how busy this place normally gets. We showed up at about 4:45 on a Saturday and they asked if we had reservations. We let them know we did not and that we just moved to town. They were super busy and we're very kind enough to fit us in for a table of 4. We really liked the food and have been back one time are ready. So far both times the food was good and they were very nice.

The atmosphere is really nice. Patio in the back is great. The beer selection is impressive too although the waitress told a member of our party that the 4 beers he wanted were out of stock. I asked for the same one after our food came and got it with no problem. Burger was good but was well done. I asked for medium well. Someone in our party asked for their burger medium rare and it was cooked like mine. Second time there and we'll give them another shot. I want to love the place based on their food and beer menu, prices and atmosphere. Hopefully next time will be better.

Very good food... usually. It's like when they're on, they're on, and when they're off, they're way off. Check out the fish n chips and shrimp basket. Good steaks. Wings are breaded... So I think the garlic parmesan are the best of the bunch. Great selection of beer and liquor. Try whatever is on nitro. Fries need help, though. They taste frozen.

I ordered the Fish and Chips because AFTER I had chosen something else I was informed they didn't offer the last two pages of the menu for lunch. Obviously I should have been informed prior to that. Once I removed the puddle of grease on top of the fish it wasnt horrible. The service was well below average. The waitress was more concerned with wrapping her silver ware in the paper napkins then with us. Not too concerned obviously because the silverware we had recieved had a dirty fork with food stuck on it. Oh yeah... Nice entertainment however. We got to listen to the chefs phone call as he stood in front of us as we tried to have a conversation we could only hear his. Pass this place by. Definitely will not return.

    Great local watering-hole.

Staff is always friendly and cheerful.

When you first walk in it is very reminiscent of a traditional Irish pub, feeling like a converted house.

Out back has a large screened in deck for a more modern feel.

I've eaten there twice and the food has been good both times with plenty of choice on the menu to fit whatever you are hungry for.

This pub came highly recommended and it certainly lived up to that. Fantastic selection of beer on tap and bottles. The food was amazing and the chef is the best kept secret in central PA. Service was extremely attentive and friendly. We enjoyed ourselves so much that we brought our bikes the next day, went for a 20 mile ride on the adjacent bike trail, then stopped in and had a beer and sandwiches...

Just had lunch there and had the worst service I've encountered in a very long time. It took over 30 minutes for our food and when it arrived it was stone cold. A ?manager apologized, said the waitress probably took too long to pick up the order (obviously) and told us our check would be discounted. When our food arrived the 2nd time it was hot but the burger was overcooked, no condiments came with it and honestly it was worth the bother. I had to flag the waitress for more water which 10 additional minutes to get there. We sat waiting for our plates to be cleared for 20 minutes and finally, again, had to flag the ?manager for our check. She apologized, said our waitress was ill and had to leave soon, rather unappetizing to know your server is sick. Totaled it was almost 2 hours for a couple sandwiches. REALLY terrible service. FYI, don't tell customers their server is sick! YUCK

Be careful. My wife and I were leaving this restaurant on a Friday night and were followed out by a group of drunk people. After a scuffle, they took the keys out of her hand and we had to get the police involved to get them back. Not an enjoyable evening for us.
