A wonderful place to buy used books, games, music, and a small selection of toys and electronics. Expansive collection of books from all genres, all in good condition. Friendly helpful staff.

McKay's has a great selection of books, music, movies, games and many more hard to find items. I really enjoy this place because of the wealth of books and music. Old and new its all good here. When I visited there was also a coffee truck outside. Cobblestone parking lot and vintage goods on the inside. Awesome

The best and biggest resale media+ store I have ever seen. It started with books, movies and music but they have expanded to many other things.
You MUST check it out! Great deals!

A great place to buy books, movies, video games, and music. McKay's is a pre-owned merchandise store. Essentially, you can take in any of the stuff I just mentioned, and they buy it for cash or store credit. Then, naturally, they sell the stuff they buy from people. Their buy back values are fair (keeping in mind they have the overhead of having a store to run), and their sale prices are reasonable too. It's a lot of fun to go browse the store, as you never know what you will find. Highly recommended!

I have been to every McKay’s in TN and they are all amazing. There’s just so much to see.

I call McKay’s my happy place. I love to go there on a bad day. They have tons and tons and tons of movies, books, games, and music. If you’re in Nashville, Knoxville, or Chattanooga, you need to visit McKays. My only criticism is the prices. They lean on the high side of retail, but you can still find a great deal if you look.

It's always wonderful there. Cheap prices and super friendly staff. I take a little fold up stool so I can sit and browse in a section more comfortably instead of sitting in the floor for lower shelves. They also have couches and chairs

Absolutely wonderful place filled with books, music, video games, movies, board games, Legos, instruments, electronics, etc. This place has amazing prices, (I got a $150 textbook for $3), and when you sell stuff back you can get store credit which is worth more than the dollars you'd get in your pocket. I can't say enough about this store, I absolutely recommend it for anyone who does anything because you WILL find something you love and it will be in here.
The only thing I wish there was, is an indexing system where you could find out if there are certain titles in the store but may not be in the place you originally thought of. I understand that's a huge undertaking and would require hundreds of hours of compiling stock, but I think it'd be very helpful.

The staff is very helpful and friendly. The organization was excellent for a store that size or any bookstore. I love coming there cause as a typical male who does not like shopping; I know what I'm after. It is always several things and different subjects yet quick to find and out the door. Even with a long line and 1 checkout person with a lengthy customer the staff quickly had someone there to assist and help the rest; and got us out remarkably fast for the number in the line. It has always been at the top of my list for bookstores. The level of organization is refreshing. Thank you for a most pleasant experience again! I'll be back again! The friend with me today had never been and fell in love immediately....we had to leave cause our books were to heavy to carry and we hadn't got a cart. Just for your financials I spend approximately $50-$80 every time and lots of times more and end up there every other month or more and live in South Inglewood 37216.

Great place for used books and videos. They will take some of your used items. Just wish they had some kind of system where you look up titles or authors. Have found one author to be located in several different areas. Still love going here!

Great selection of books. I can get lost for hours in McKay's! Some book prices are a bit inflated, but some are priced incredibly reasonable. The only reason I can't give 5 stars is because they essentially screw you when you take stuff in for sale/trade. A book that is selling for $40+ used online, they were only willing to give about $2.00 for. That's just one example, and I feel their trade-in prices have seemingly gotten lower over the years.

Overall, a great place to get lost for a few hours. They have a pretty extensive collection of vinyl also. Just be leery of trade-in credits...pay attention to your itemized list!

Incredible selection. Incredible prices. Friendly staff. Sometimes I just stop by for the smoothie lady that sets up in the parking lot. And free books out front. Love this store.

Wow ... shelf after shelf of used books ... HUGE store. Lots of non-fiction in every category imaginable, DVDs, games, and music also available. It was a little bit difficult to find what you were looking for, because sometimes you couldn't figure out the genre, and they were not completely alphabetized within categories. Having said all that, we shopped for nearly two hours, and came out with a huge box full of books. The prices were quite good ... many books were $3 or less, with quite a few under $1. Really fun shopping here!

I love this place!! Every time we visit Nashville, McKay's is one of our first stops. Great prices, and so many books you could spend hours looking around and not get to half of them. Great media and music sections as well, and our kids love sitting on the floor and reading while we shop.

It's also a great place to take your used books, movies, and games for money or store credit. My brother just got almost $100 store credit for stuff taking up space on his shelves. Amazing!!
