I took this on Thursday night as RISK was creating it. Last night's Graffiti HeArt grand opening was great!
Check out RISK's creation in its completed form this afternoon! Today’s community open house and ribbon cutting is open and free to the public, 12-6PM with ribbon cutting at 1PM. Come out and check out the new gallery!

Fresh off the plane this morning from two weeks in Ireland I had a great time shooting Kelly Graval, better known as RISK at Graffiti HeArt's new home... East 49th and Superior Avenue!
This week RISK has been painting the Graffiti HeArt gallery. In the course of his nearly 30-year career, Graval has become one of the most influential graffiti artists, particularly in Los Angeles. He was such a pleasure to work with!
Come and celebrate the Grand Opening of the new Graffiti HeArt gallery and ribbon cutting event and tour this incredible place on Saturday, June 1st from 11:00am - 6:00pm!

For fellow GoT fanatics, The Dark Hedges was featured in season two episode one. Formed by the overhanging and intertwined branches of beech trees that line either side, it was planted in the 18th century by the Stuart family in an effort to improve the view for visitors approaching the entrance of their Georgian mansion.

On Saturday we said goodbye to a dear neighbor and Hudson legend. Lew Walker was truly an officer and a gentleman. We learned of his many accomplishments in life as well as with the Navy. He was a war hero, brilliant lifelong learner, avid reader and eternal optimist. A few years ago Lew sat in our family room somewhat exhausted and overwhelmed. A fire that inadvertently started in a nearby property spread to Lew’s carriage house where he kept hundreds of priceless maps that ...he had collected and was selling as a hobby and business. Most were destroyed. Lew the optimist jumped right back into replacing those maps when his insurance monies came through. He was 95 or so at the time. I was honored to have taken the portrait that was used in Saturday’s celebration of Lew’s life. I try not to mix business and pleasure on my Matthew Greene Photography FB page, but since my business is all pleasure and portraits are a cornerstone of my business... this portrait of my son is very appropriate.
I'll be sharing more photos of Washington's Olympic National Park that I'll eventually be making available via an online gallery with shopping cart.
Last week I spent 2 1/2 glorious days with this talented young man (Charlie) navigating beaches, rainforests, and mountains in this amazing part of the country. 2 1/2 days that will never escape my memory! They were priceless!
