Magnificent Museum. Varied types of exhibits and art. It is maze like, but this adds to the fun as just when you think you have finished there is another feature to the museum. Highly recommended.

Always an awesome concert experience at Mass MoCA. Small, intimate venue with great acoustics. Their gift shop, cafe, and bar are open during the performances as well. First come, first serve seating but there's really not a bad spot anywhere. I've been to several shows there.

Layout was not very clear. The exhibits were decent, though some of the works came across as unrefined. I would have liked more plaques that had information on the artist and the piece's intent. There were some very nice sculptures and I enjoyed the painting of the interior of the gallery. The sound tunnel was neat.

It will depend on what kind of art you like, but for me MASS MoCA is the best museum of its kind that I've ever been to. The campus is sprawling, with many buildings to explore and trails to wander through. Building 6 is the museum's most recent addition, but new shows seem to pop up regularly. The landscape, industrial and remade as commentary, is striking. You could easily spend a day soaking up the culture of the place.

Terrific complex. A center for the arts that includes Tunnel City Coffee, Bright Ideas Brewing and the Gramercy Bistro. A bright, friendly place to wander about.

Amazingly unique museum. I have never been to a museum like this. The architecture and museum setup are a marvel in itself. Very funky look. They have some interactive exhibits such a virtual reality. Very cool optical illusion area. The cafe has amazing food as well. A little small from initial observations but there are so many areas you do not notice right away because of the unique setup. My family recently became MASS MoCA members.

If you don't like contemporary art you'll still find something here that will intrigue you. You'll also see some things that will infuriate you. But isnt that a little bit the point? If you like contemporary art then you've probably already been here and if you haven't, what the hell is your problem?! Hie thee here.

Great museum. It's a bit of a maze, but I think that's half the fun. You end up seeing installations from different perspectives when you end up a little turned around :) We went for the day and to see a concert. It was opening day and they were completely overrun with people, and all the staff was professional, helpful and kind. I'd go back in a heartbeat.

Coolest place. Really unique space using old warehouses. Large size installations and some unusual and fun stuff. Always love going back.

Great exhibits, especially the Lewitt exhibit. I was very happy to learn they change them up. Free parking and reasonable admission.

Contemporary art is often time difficult understand the sense of artists. There are variety of arts and they are spread out at different buildings. A getting confused which ones i havent been while i was walking one to another. The wall print arts and gun bellets arts of animals are my favorites. The 3D drawing arts were fantastic!

Completely absorbing. Favorite exhibit was Nick Cave's Until but I wouldn't have missed anything here. The airstream is fascinating, the kids area was an exhibit of repurposed material made into animals - saddles sculpted together into a horse, bullet casings into a lion, old shoes into birds. This is my new favorite at museum.

I went here for a concert but came early enough to roam the complex. This place is beyond impressive. Littered with art installations on large scales, a brewery, a coffee house, and several galleries with art on display, I feel I could roam this place for an entire day and still miss something. The show was in their back grass lot where an amphitheater was setup. It was a great outdoor concert venue.
