Friendly staff, great prices, great selection. Just getting back in to doing homebrewed beers, so I'll definitely be going back. Join their mailing list to get information for upcoming classes and sales.

Maryland homebrew is my toy store of choice. The staff is knowledgeable, the inventory rivals that of many online homebrew shops, they host and support local events, and their prices are very reasonable. If you're a homebrew in there central Maryland area this place is worth the trip.

If you brew beer, wine or are thinking of doing so for the first time, this should become your home base. Everyone who works here are super knowledgeable and LOVE what they do with homebrewing, and the culture of brewing itself and it shows. They'll chat you up about a beer you love and then tell you how to make it, even offering tips with experience of their own.

These guys are great! They're knowledgable and always willing to answer questions, provide recipes, and make suggestions. They have a good selection of ingredients. Beginners and experienced brewers will find just everything they need here, and if you're an AHA member, they offer discounts.

Love Maryland homebrew. Got into homebrewing earlier this year and Maryland homebrew always comes through with what I'm looking for. They have everything from kits and extract to a ton of grain malt to choose from. Sometimes you can get some of your equipment for cheaper online but nothing beats MHB's customer service. Everyone in the store is friendly and willing to help you with whatever your latest brew is.

This is a great local homebrew store, very knowledgeable staff and prices comparable to online stores. On occasion they host really great group brew events, they also frequent brewing classes for both beginners and those making the switch to all-grain. The store also sells wine and cheese making supplies, it's really an incredible selection of everything.

Great make your own wine selection. Very helpful customer service. Did not try to sell me the most expensive kit, rather helped me figure out what is right for my dad's pallette!

Great, knowledgeable staff. They are very friendly and willing/wanting to help. MD homebrew offers a fun recipe board when you first walk in to try out local breweries recipes. They also offer a cheese making room and a wine making room.

MD Homebrew has everything you need, fair prices, and the MOST helpful staff you could ask for. They have been very helpful and willing to let me and my wife pick their brains about the brews we're working on. They also hold classes which I haven't taken yet, but sound great. Of course you can get most things cheaper online, but I highly recommend buying from them for the personal interaction. It's WELL worth the small amount extra you pay.
