Great restaurant with excellent service. I had the Creamy Shrimp Pesto. My husband had the Shrimp & Scallops Alfredo. Both dishes were excellent. The restaurant was very bright & quite family friendly. I had hoped for homemade pasta given it was a locally owned & run so hence the 4 rating. Great place to eat!!!
I ordered chicken parmigiana. The chicken was perfect! And they had gluten free angel hair pasta. I loved it. The marinara sauce lacked flavor. Hmm. They have several sauces so I'd try a different one in future.
Martinelli's was just the place we were looking for after a long day of driving. It's a small Italian restaurant that offers the typical Italian cuisine. My daughter enjoyed the Fettuccine Alfredo and I enjoyed the price (under $3). I had Chicken Piccata.. YUM! My husband was hoping for a steak, but he wasn't fond of the mushrooms served with each option so he settled for chicken. Our server was Logan and he was fantastic. They were quite busy, but you'd never notice. He was always there to refill drinks and bring whatever we needed. Great place with great prices. You should totally eat there.
The food here is delicious! The food portions are quite large. Even though they were really busy we got our food quickly. We enjoy eating there. They have family style options that are fantastic-so much food! Making a reservation is a good idea.
Best Italian food you will ever eat.! it is as good as your Italian grandmother used to make. The portions are very large and the price is very modest. You can easily eat there for $10 or less per person. This is my favorite place to eat Italian food in Kansas. I do not live in Salina, so, that means I have to drive an hour to eat there. We tried to go there at least once a month. The marinara sauce is thick and very flavorful. the meatballs are as big as Baseballs. The alfredo sauce is rich and creamy. Try it, you will be glad that you did.
We were driving through Salina and had 3 hungry teenage girls, we didn't know where to go but they all agreed on a Italian restaurant - so I looked on my trusty Google maps and found this wonderful little place. Everything was delicious even the girls loved it and we all know how hard it is to please hungry teenagers! Everyone working here was super friendly and attentive to all, I will recommend this great little Italian restaurant to everyone. Thanks so much for the yummy food!
A gem. The multigrain bread was fabulous. The salads were simple but very well put together. My husband had a steak and raved about it. I had the chicken pesto and was delighted. They offer adult small, regular and family style large on everything. My only regretI'm too full for dessert.
Super friendly service, shrimp pesto excellent, lasagna and eggplant parm delicious! Portions very generous. Only detraction was dirty plates not cleared quick enough
Our waitress Kelly was fantastic. I was there with a group of 13 and our food came out pretty quick. I would recommend the quarter size portions. I had fettuccine Alfredo with shrimp and broccoli. I thought the prices were reasonable considering the large portions. Cheesecake was awesome
My waiter Brandon suggested the steaks, said they were the best in town I thought I should be the judge of that damn if he wasn't right!
One of my favorite places to eat at all time! The staff is amazing and the food is even better. I can not say enough good things about this place.
We had dinner there last night, first time there and I can't say enough good things. Jordan was are waiter and he did a excellent job. He explained the menu, answered all our questions. He recommended the special. Very good! Will be back.
Thank You Jordan for the outstanding service.
I have not seen waitress Angel today :-) but Martinelli's Little Italy is a definitely nice place to chill out and have a good time together while eating Italian Lasagna and other meal
Bravo, nice idea to have a little part of Italy in Salina, KS. I missed that food since my last visit of Italy in 2008. This cozy restaurant brought my sweet memories back. Highly recommend to visit that place
Traveling through (and on birthday) and found this delicious, local gem. Portions are SUPER generous so be careful. The chopped salad was creamy yum: avocado, small chicken bites, prosciutto and more. Our chicken entrees were quite tasty. Definitely GO. You'll be lucky if ANGEL is your waitress! She's a rare one: knowledgeable of her menu, attentive, friendly and charming. Managers must give lots of thought to customer service as well as yum food.
