Description
Martha's Task is a nonprofit dedicated to helping low income women by providing long-term and short-term job training. We offer a seamstress training program through which women are paid while they learn to sew and receive a sewing machine and tools when they graduate.
We also offer an emergency assistance program through which women can work for three hours and walk out with cash in hand to help with an immediate need. The beautiful merchandise made by our clients is sold at our store at 718 S. Johnstone Ave. Martha's Task is an official university crafter for University of Oklahoma and Oklahoma State University.
