Let's get it outta the way, the food is good. Like if you wanna spend an extra dollar per dish than lazy dog and are already in westlake - foods good. The service is really what makes a place though and I gotta say from the get go, this place is lacking. The hostess guys have a hard to figure out system of seating whoever complains the most - I mean, that's kind of a tip for you. And then the typically long wait for food. Listen, Wednesday lunch? Definitely. Sunday brunch? You're better off somewhere else.

My mother, aunt, grandmother and cousin got food poisoning at this restaurant, they all had the spinach omelette. The food was fine at first, but by the end of the day they were very sick, throwing up many times, they had eaten nothing since then. To top it all off, this all occurred at my eldest cousins wedding, it was his mother who started to get the nausea. I highly do not recommend this place.

The staff, the food, the atmosphere was totally amazing!!! The service here was top-notch. If you're driving through Thousand Oaks it would be to your advantage to stop by and have breakfast you won't regret it!

Eat on the patio, bubbling brook. Very pleasant environment. Salmon Nicoise for my wife and lobster and crab for me. Both excellent. enjoy!

1st time here. Great food. Loved the French toast. Could use more of a better welcome as you walk in. It was kind of blah. 1st thing out of girls mouth:
How many? ... no matter how busy you are, it's always a nice gesture to welcome your guests like

The staff at Marmalade Westlake Village were fantastic today , Saturday of Mothers Day Weekend!! They accommodated my 84 yr old mom (Alzheimer's), with a walker, so graciously and the manager checked on us. Our ice tea was constantly refilled. Great salads. Thank you so much for making our day special!

I loved the salmon benedict! I don't know how they poach their eggs so perfectly. It's a little noisy when it's busy. The waiter and the manager were both very attentive. I can't wait to go back.

A very relaxed place to eat with amazing food and service. This place seems to always be packed!

I really want to like this place, but each time I've been there, the quality of food is was disappointing. After not going back for about a year, I tried their brunch this past weekend. My husband had eggs benedict.. which we regretted. My son's pancake was dry that he was not appease despite pound of syrup, and my turkey has was just mush and tasteless with nothing to bite into.

Evolution, man. It happens! ;-0 By which I mean the menu. I almost had their original one memorized, but it's definitely changed. I've been coming to this location for so many years I've lost count. Introduced Dear Hubby to it when he moved out this way 11 years ago. He joined their fandom club.

Sitting outside on the patio is a relaxing experience. Indoors with the high ceilings can get to be a bit loud. It's definitely a cozy feel in the spacing of the tables in the main dining room. It presents like a neighborhood restaurant, instead of being part of a chain (which it is).

Food is always reliable. I do miss the wide array of soup choices they used to have, back in the day. They still have multiple options, but not as many as they once did.

The tables are tight for four people if you have anything more than one dinner plate per person. If you try to accommodate beverages and a bread plate, too - it gets tricky.

Their fresh rolls are sinfully good when hot from the oven.
