Dr Mark Solomon is both an excellent surgeon and a kind man. Five years ago he operated on one of my feet and 4 months later he operated on the other. I am grateful for the excellent work he did. I went from excruciating foot pain to pain free feet! He recently drained a cyst on my toe with the same professionalism, expertise and warm bedside manner he is known for. If you are looking for that rare combination of an excellent doctor who is also compassionate you will find it with Dr Mark Solomon.

Just want to start off by saying he deserves way more than just 5 stars! I'm 21 and was born with club-foot. Working full-time, being on my feet, I was in excruciating pain within hours. Dr. Solomon made me extremely comfortable and confident going into this massive re-construction surgery for my foot and ankle. I never looked forward to going to see any doctor until I started coming to see him. Every visit there is always a good laugh! Dr. Solomon knows what he's doing, and the results are real! I will recommend him to absolutely everyone I know without a doubt.

Dr.Solomon is an excellent doctor with excellent bedside manner. He is caring, understanding and compassionate. I have seen how he changes people's life and gives them a light at the end of the tunnel on things other physicians/surgeons told them couldn't be fixed or even improved. He is the only doctor I would EVER trust with my feet.

Dr. Solomon and his staff are great ! I had been playing the sport I love professionally overseas and obtained a serious sports injury. Prior to my care under Dr. Solomon I had seen many different doctors for my injury and simply put, none of them compared to Dr. Solomon. He knows how to work with all types of patients including athletes. Dr. Solomon was very thorough and his office worked efficiently. He completed a complicated surgery and had me back on my feet in a few short weeks. I am just 8 weeks post surgery and already back to playing the sport I love, training for my next tournament. Highly recommend !

Let's start with the staff. They are kind, professional and make you feel welcome. The waiting area is comfortable and I have never waited more than 5 minutes.

I have always been able to get appointments within a week of calling and appointments are scheduled into early evening so I can go after work.

The office takes my insurance which is great! Blue Cross.

Dr. Solomon is kind, professional and funny. He listens carefully to all of my crazy questions and never makes me feel rushed. He is an outstanding surgeon. He has operated on myself and family members and all of us had uncomplicated and relatively painless procedures.

I most recently had an Achilles' tendon repair and my recovery was remarkable. I'm back to work in regular shoes in 6 weeks. Even my physical therapist said I made a rapid recovery.

The whole experience was outstanding and I highly recommend this physician and practice.

I suffered from chronic plantar fasciitis and ankle pain for most of my adult life. Around the time I turned 35, the pain began to get worse and within a few years, I knew I needed to do something about it. I'd seen several different podiatrists over the years and orthotics brought some relief, but they were no longer sufficient.
From my first visit to Dr Solomon, I felt he was the right doctor. He spent time with me, listened to my issues and was through in his exam.
An MRI revealed that of the 3 ligaments on the outside of my ankle, I had a complete tear and a partial. In short my ankle was collapsing.
Dr Solomon surgically repaired my ligaments with amazing results. I was in a walking cast just days after the surgery. After physical therapy and follow up visits to with Dr Solomon, I felt like a new man.
It's been 2 years since the surgery at the time of this review and my foot and ankle are great. I can't believe the difference in my life to walk without pain.
I've recommended Dr Solomon to my friends with no reservation. He is an amazing surgeon and a great doctor.

Dr. Solomon is hands down the best ankle/foot surgeon in the area. He has performed 2 surgeries on my ankle (unrelated issues) and I have been able to return 110% of where I was prior afterward. My most recent surgery was a ligament repair and I was back in the gym 2 weeks later and able to hike last fall and ski this winter without pain. He truly cares about his patients and will spend time to listen/understand your concerns and take the time to explain your condition and the best approach/treatment plan. My background is also in the healthcare field and I always recommend Dr. Solomon to whomever needs to see a foot/ankle specialist.

I have had pain and trouble walking due to issues with my 2nd metatarsal for over a year now. I originally had surgery in January of this year with another surgeon who I thought was going to fix my issue with my 2nd metatarsal but only shaved off some bone spurs. I was disappointed when the pain came back so I did more research and found Dr. Solomon. I was impressed from the first visit when he actually listened to my concerns, he spoke to the Resident who assisted in my first surgery before I came back after some tests and took the time to explain and make sure I understand everything and why. I'm now 4 weeks out from a Bunion and 2nd metatarsal osteotomy and though I'm still healing my foot feels better than it has in a year and I'm now confident that I'll be back to the things I love doing. Dr. Solomon and his awesome staff do a wonderful job and I would recommend them to anyone with foot problems.

I really couldn't have asked for a better experience with Dr. Solomon. I broke my ankle and needed surgery (plate & screw put in). From preliminary appointments and conversations to 6 months later and ensuring I am back to work as nothing ever happened, Mark was a great doctor every step of the way. I was married in May with surgery at the end of January and he assured me that I would be walking down the aisle without a problem and I did! I truly don't think I could have done it without Dr. Solomon and his great staff. Very supportive and caring, thank you all! I would definitely recommend him for any foot/ankle issues after my experience.

I had an AMAZING experience here's my story:

When I was 10 years old (year 2000), I was told that I had a fracture sesamoid bone in my left foot. At this time in my life I was dancing  6-7 days a week, competing, and performing semi professionally. The doctor said I would be in a walking cast for 6 weeks and I'd be healed. He also told me to cut down my dancing to only one style, and while this was devistating, i was happy i was still allowed one. Well, 6 weeks later the cast came off and the x-ray still showed a "break" in my sesamoid. The doctor told me I must have been born with my bone this way. However, the pain persisted over the next few years to the point where in 2008, I ceased dancing all together. I sought out podiatrists and surgeons hoping they had answers for me, each one claiming I had some form of a fractured sesamoid bone. They said it was fractured, or it was a nonunion fracture, and provided different methods of treatment from taping, pads, and orthotics to ultrasound bone stimulation. It has been 13 years since I first felt this pain. At this point I had given up hope completely. Luckily, my mom had not, and suggested that I make an appointment with Dr. Solomon. Making this appointment was the best decision I ever made. When I explained to him what I had been through, I could tell he had other ideas, and he did. He had suggested to me something no doctor had ever even mentioned, so of course I was on board. He decided to try a nerve block in between my great and second toes which would temporarily numb the nerve that resides there. Over the 3 days that the nerve block lasted, I hiked rough terrain, walked excessively, and basically acted like my foot pain was never there AND I FELT NO PAIN! This was what proved that my pain was not in my bone, however, but a nerve entrapment. He offered to remove the nerve in hopes that it would completely relieve the pain in my foot. Without hesitation, I said YES! I knew there was a chance that it would not work, I knew I might still feel the pain. But it was completely worth it. It has been 10 weeks since the surgery, and 16 years since the original diagnosis, and I am FINALLY PAIN FREE!!! Thank you Dr. Solomon for helping me, I cannot describe how amazing it feels to walk without pain!
