Since they've remodeled, it's a nice place to see a movie. I used to drive an hour or so to the big theaters to see movies on opening nights. Having to wait in line for hours to see flicks on premier night, no more. I've seen Rogue One, Episode 7, and several other big block busters with no waiting. Showed up an hour before the movie, no line, pick any seat in the house. This is where I go from now on to see premiers. It's not IMAX quality and the seating needs some love, but it's a great spot.

Only saw 1 movie, but was pleasant. Movie theater is easy to physically easy to get in and fast. Price for matinee time movies is apparently same price as other cinema's, theater is never really packed maybe on weekends I can't say, don't visit on weekends. A nice place to visit as a family.

Very clean, seats were comfy and the snacks were tasty. Matinee was reasonably priced at $6. I would definitely go here again.

My family and I love Marianna Cinemas, we try to come up here and watch one of the newest movies that has just come out whenever we can, even though it's only possible for us to do so on rare occasions. My Dad took us out for my oldest sister's birthday tonight and everyone, except for my little sister and myself, decided to watch the new movie "IT." My little sister and I just watched the new movie "Friend Request," and it was an awesome movie, but we got scared so many times while watching it! (I even yelled/screamed one of the times that I got scared, I didn't mean to, but when I did everyone in the theater turned in my direction and started laughing.)

They staff here are great, they really work hard and should get the credit they deserve. They keep the place nice and clean, they're super friendly to the customers, the cinema just wouldn't be the same without them.

Love the new remodel and it has made it a more comfortable and more likely of a place to chose to take my family if ever they have a movie playing that's not in another city that is at least the minimum if 30-45 minutes away.

Just bought a ticket to see the movie Girls Trip. He wrote on the ticket n handed it to me. He crossed out Valerian which played at 12:15pm n wrote above it Girls Trip 1 pm. I'm like Really, this how we do??

That would have been a good excuse except a white gentleman was standing in front of me purchasing a ticket. So he could have given it to him. I really do believe you all were not accounting for all ticket sales for Girls Trip just to show low numbers.

Great theatre with decent screens but no stadium-style seating. Even with the old-school slope, it's nice to go there because that it's never overcrowded.

The reason I took off a star is because the seats are too hard making them incredibly uncomfortable. It more then makes up for it with its cheap cost for new movies. I just caught a matinee of the new Spiderman for $6.00. I don't believe the night showings are that much more either.

Great Hometown Theater. We love to take our grandchildren to Marianna Cinemas. Cost is reasonable, especially if you go to matinee. Even at night, the tickets are far less than Dothan or Panama, and they offer a great kids snack pack, which is just right for the grands!

Despite the outside appearance this little theatre is nice on the inside. The staff is generally friendly. The ticket prices are far better than average, though the concession prices are average. Its always clean every time I've visited, including the bathrooms. Its never too hot, but if you get cold easily you might want to bring a light sweater. The room on the far right had an especially loud machinery sound, assuming it was from the projector, that was a bit distracting during more quiet times of the movie playing.

The prices are a little ridiculous. I understand that everyone is trying to make a dollar, and this is a small town, but kid prices (6 and 9 years old) should not be $7.75 each. Matinee prices for children should not be the same as adults either. Over $6 each? That's crazy. The theater isn't bad. It's old, but they are doing a nice job with the remodels. I don't think they can compete with the big chain theaters though. For that simple fact, the prices need to be lower so they can appeal to more customers. If I'm paying that much, I would rather go to Panama or Dothan. At least Carmike's seats are more comfortable. 🙄

I strongly recommend this location! Perfect price, local convenience, good quality snacks, and the top movies just like any other "big city" location. They just keep getting better. Check online first. The road sign display is sometimes hard to read all that they offer. Hint: Go before 6pm to get the best prices.

In town visiting. Watched Rogue 1. They left the lights on in the theatre for the entire movie. And we bought the large popcorn and soda for refills. But 20 minutes in when we decided to get refillsthe staff at the concessions stand said they were closed. I pointed out this and they were uninterested and seemed bothered by my request and made no effort to help or even to make eye contact. They had the same attitude about the lights being on. Another problem was that, although the theatre was half empty, I had trouble finding a decent seat with my son because so many people had their feet propped up or their jackets laid across the seats ahead of them. Apparently this is a behavior that the theatre sanctions since so many ppl were doing it. But by far the biggest annoyance was that the lights were left on.
