Since Mammoth cave and Diamond cave were sold out, I chose Marengo cave in the next morning. I can't compare to any caverns but my bf said it's worth more then Mammoth cave. Crystal Palace is amazing, and our tour guide Lerry is so humor and informative. If you don't want to drive 1.5 hours from Louisville to see a cavern, it must be a highlight in your trip.

Loved it here. We have been trying to go all the caves we can and this one was a great tour. Only issue we had here was we took my girlfriend's mom and the walk to the dripstones tour almost killed her if we would have known we could have dropped her off closer to the cave entrance there is a pull off right there beside the road after we got in she did fine the pathways were petty easy walking so beside that it was great. I would definitely recommend this cave very cool.

Both tours are amazing and our tour guide Erin was funny and informative. the Crystal Palace is a much easier tour if you have trouble with steps and uneven paths, maybe ask to drive to the entrance and drop someone off. The gift shop has some really cool stuff at good prices. Money well spent!

Reasonable price for both cave tours. Paths inside the caves are fair to rugged, nothing too hard to hike. Suitable for all ages. Tour guides are knowledgable and friendly. Paths are often wet and occasionally muddy. Information on their website is very accurate, no surprises. Tours stuck to the approximated timeline.

Beautiful place, definitely worth the money and the drive.

This remains one of my very favorite show caves. The tours are long and informative, and the history of the cave and its uses over the years held the attention of even the youngest guests. This is an older cave with a wide range of formations ranging from fascinating to breathtaking. This is a highly recommended stop on any cave tour of North America.

Caves were awesome! Took my 6 and 3 year olds on the shorter tour, they were amazed. 52 degrees really didn't feel that cold. Great gift shop. Then we decided to check out the camp site. We had a 45 ft rv and fit just fine in the parking space. 50 amp hook up. No sewer. Just fine since they had an awesome shower facility. And for the price we stayed the night. Plenty of things for the 10 year old boys to explore. Definitely a place to visit on a day tour.

After hours of travel we arrived to this beautiful property. We entered the incredibly designed gift shop with a wide variety of merchandise and made a rather large purchase as the items we chose were quite desirable and reasonably priced to ship home. There was only one guide available to us but on a weekday in the early afternoon that's to be expected. However we didn't mind waiting for a bit as (I assume) the owner chatted with us about our next stops along our cross country journey. Finally lead through both beautiful cave tours by a knowledgeable gentleman by the name of Phil, we learned all about the history, rock formations, and much more. To say the least, we had an excellent experience and hope we run into many more folks like this along our journey.

I took my 3 and 6 year old sons here for a surprise overnight trip. We took both of the main cave tours and stayed one night in the Dogwood camping cabin. There's not much that could have made my trip any better.

All three of us were entertained and educated on the easily accessible cave tours. The local teens giving the tours were well informed and clearly passionate about the caves. Goofy puns abound and the trips are affordable and a good length for almost any visitor, though I'm not sure about wheelchair accessibility unless there's a cave entrance I didn't see. The cave itself is beyond description and surpassed any expectations I had of its natural beauty. The history behind it is pretty cool too from the story of its discovery by local children exploring with just candles to the multiple uses it's seen since opening in 1883.

The campground facility was one of the nicest I've ever seen. We stayed in a camping cabin which was just an air conditioned room with bunk beds and a mini fridge. Each cabin and all the campsites have a fire pit and picnic table an easy access to city water at numerous locations. Many of the campsites have permanent wooden gazebos over the picnic tables also. There are shower and restroom facilities within walking distance of it all and the gift shop/cave entrance is also right nearby. The whole area was clean, well maintained, and picturesque with lots of shady areas.

Service was impeccable and there are so many activities to partake in. We will be making this a regular trip in the future especially as my boys get older and are able to take part in the canoe trips and more advanced cave adventures that are also offered here. I can not recommend this place enough!!!

We had a awesome time touring this cave and shopping their fun shop. Would rate 5 stars, but when I called ahead, I was told there were no stairs in the tour proper, only at the beginning (a few) and end (22). There were about a dozen all together during the tour itself, which were a bit difficult for my husband, but we managed well enough. Gorgeous cave, helpful staff and awesome place to spend the afternoon! Pack a jacket, the cave stays at 52 degrees year round.

The cave tours are great and this cave is worth the visit. The scenery is very much So. Indiana, hills, trees, rivers. The campground is very small and cannot accommodate a large camper. The camp sites themselves are very small. More for tent camping and people you know since you are on top of each other. I suggest camping at Indian-Celina FWA down the road a bit.

You definitely want a good spring jacket at the minimum, no matter what season it is on the surface. We had nice tour guides to the caves who were very knowledgeable. Christina took us through the Crystal Palace and Hannah took through the Dripstone side. They were both phenomenal. Thank you for preserving the cave for everyone to enjoy! It would be nice to explore the rest of the area around the cave in the future.

Wonderful cave with unique features. Great family-friendly fun. Constant 52 degrees inside and open year round. Rain does not effect and will not flood. About $50 for 2 adults to take 2 tours. Each trail was about 1 mile, very few stairs. Gift shop is great and you can buy a picture of your group in the cave 1 for $10 and 2 for $17. Overall great experience for the price!
