  My wife and I both love being here. It reminds us of our time spent in Europe. The portion size is very good given what you are eating. They have many meats, cheeses, and desserts. A friendly atmosphere. A great place to forget your busy world and relax with great food and great friends.

  Small, inconspicuous, charming little restaurant! Owner greets you with a warm, sincere hello and welcome. Menu is not big, which I like. Perfect amount of paninis, salads, entrees to choose from. Menu does not overwhelm. And the food, INCREDIBLE. Simple fresh ingredients paired in a way I never expected and totally delicious. Example, Granola Salad: Spinach, strawberries, shaved Parmesan cheese and granola drizzled with balsamic vinegar. Amazing!
  I have brought 2 friends here and both loved it. My one friend is from Germany. When she heard the owner engaging customers in her native Italian, my friend said "Ahh, I feel like I am in Europe again!"
  Nice selection of wine and little grocery area in the back. And don't get me started on the desserts!!!
  Enjoy a slice of Heaven and Italy in Virginia Beach!

  ABSOLUTELY WONDERFUL!!!! So glad I found a location as AMAZING as this italian Cafe. The owner is beyond friendly, the hospitality was tremendous. The selection of deserts & food is INCREDIBLE. I highly encourage anyone looking for a great spot to eat (delicious authentic Italian food) this is a shop you don't want to pass by. Plus the imported assortments and foods they have are the BEST in the Hampton Roads!!!!! Thank you again Anna Marie for the extraordinary experience.

  The best Italian café in the area. Her cappuccinos are heavenly and there is a wide choice of very yummy and fresh paninis. Very attentive service. All around amazing!

  We decided to stop in and check it out one day. So glad we did. Pleasantly surprised by the little shops quality and authenticity. The food was delicious and the service was incredible. Made me feel like I was back in Europe.

  Marchese Italian Market has the best Authentic Italian food. Served by real Italians with a warm and inviting atmosphere. I can't get enough of the Paninis or the fresh made soups. I would recommend this place to anyone who is look for a great meal with good friends or even a quick bite at lunch. Bravo all of y'all keep it up. P.S the deli meats selection is amazing
