Looking to expand our restaurant list, there was no table service, breakfast serve was comparable to McDonald's but much more expensive.

Pluses: Cute corner café for gelato or coffee. They seem to do those well enough with no trouble.
Minuses: Breakfast poorly executed. Very dry bread. Service passive-aggressive (server) to rude (owner). Our french toast and nutella w/bananas and sliced almonds were served on the wrong breads (they were out of the challah they're made with). The owner was pissed to redo. Glared at us as she plopped them down without word or smile and missing the accompanying pears for french toast (the 'best part' my mom said) and bananas (main ingredient) for mine. Nice place to have a quiet bite and a glass of wine . Out of the way of the crowded Square. good place to people-watch.

My friend and I came in over an hour before they closed and they would not serve us. They did not offer any sort of greeting or welcome, and they made us feel like we were not welcome at all. We asked for a menu, and they would not give us one. They might have good food, but the horrible service prevented us from trying it. Incredibly rude employees.

Genuine Italian food on a busy Santa Fe corner. You can almost feel like you're on an Italian piazza.

An Italian cafe in Santa Fe that meets expectations, from Italian dishes to Italian drink to a Euro atmosphere. Two can share a panini and pizza and drink for about $30. Dine outside in a sidewalk cafe Two stars for variety and ingredients, one star for atmosphere and one for friendly service. Not 5 star due to a forgotten dish that was ordered.
