I was disappointed came to work in this town and could not even get a hold of this place to get a room. It was terrible. It is pitiful what customer service has became and hospitality in this town is zero.

It's very quiet, clean inside & outside & the rooms are decorated very nice & the landscape is beautiful, the owner is a very nice lady, u can tell she takes pride in her motel, the rooms are small but like I said at the beginning they are very clean & nice, a mini fridge, microwave & tv is in the rooms & a 1st stop gas station/convenient store is beside the motel, would I go back and stay again YES!!!!!!

Almost hate to write this review. If people find out about this hidden gem I might be out of luck getting a room next time I'm in the area, but the owners deserve to have some one tell what a cool little place it is.
I needed a room close to West Union, OH since I was going to a car show there for the weekend. I had no luck dealing with the one motel in that town so I expanded my search to other towns in the county and came across a listing for the Mancheater Motel. I read the description and looked over the pictures and thought I'd give them a call and see what their rates were. The lady that answered the phone was helpful and gave me the information I asked for in a clear understandable voice. I went ahead and reserved a room. When I got there on Saturday the check in was easy and I was informed that they already had the air conditioning on for me, since it was pushing over 100 degrees outside.
The Room - The room was small but nicely furnished. Is it the Ritz? No, it's not. It is comfortable, clean and affordable. There was a microwave and a refrigerator as well as a fairly new TV. The grounds are nicely landscaped and you can tell that the owners take pride in their motel. I plan on staying here again in the future.
You know, without the microwave and the refrigerator, you'd almost think you were staying in someones guest room. Thats a good feeling.response / report this review
