  Moms are there for the long hospital stays; they face the tests and treatments alongside their children. Supporting a child through illness is often scary and painful, but a wish can help a family replace anxiety with hope. A wish can bring a family like Anaiah’s closer together; it can help parents see their child be carefree again. Happy Mother’s Day to all of our inspiring wish moms!

Friday night's Wish Ball's theme was Recipe for a Wish, bringing all the unique ingredients to create wishes for kids with critical illnesses. In addition our chapter is celebrating our 35th anniversary of our first wish, with wish kid Joshua.   This morning, Make-A-Wish Michigan hosted a corporate breakfast where attendees learned more about the power of philanthropy. During the breakfast, Rob Casalou of Saint Joseph Mercy Health System and Chris Granger, representing the Detroit Red Wings, presented a check for $10,000 to Make-A-Wish Michigan.
