Description

A Fusion of Local, Asian, and Thai

Pad Thai, Green Papaya Salad, and Tom Yum Soup are the headliners at Maile's Thai Bistro in the Hawaii Kai Towne Center. These traditional Thai dishes and curries compete for star status as the menu at Maile’s Thai Bistro also features signature appetizers and entrees that fuse local, Asian and Thai flavors.
In 2009, Maile Symmonds opened this casual, but chic, restaurant with three missions: serve a variety of delicious food, provide excellent service, and keep prices reasonable.
Maile’s success is based on satisfying her customers. She says, “Our customers are part of our family and we strive to make sure everyone is having a good time!”
A customer favorite is the Pad Ki Mao – wide noodles with a medium-spicy basil chili sauce, broccoli, and choice of meat. (Most seem to prefer the ground beef.)
And, if you aren't sold on Thai dishes (yet!) there are always a number of tasty alternatives at Maile’s Thai Bistro. We encourage you to try at least one dish you are not familiar with. We’re sure you’ll agree with our regular customers who are always telling Maile how much they truly enjoy the food.
You can also learn to cook your favorite local, Thai and Asian recipes Maile-style. Watch Dis N Dat on OC16 as Maile shows you how to prepare foods from kim chee fried rice and lemongrass chicken to mini-meatball sliders, chicken cashew stir fry and everything in between. Just watching her cook will have your taste buds tingling and hurrying off to Maile’s Thai Bistro to satisfy your cravings.
