Probably the only thing Greenville is known for. This is not a gourmet establishment, far from it, but if you can enjoy foods that are simple, not loaded with salt and trash, and humble in nature, then this is a place you can enjoy. The meat is steamed and simply seasoned, so it’s not greasy at all. And because the condiments are simple and the meat used of good quality, it allows for a sandwich that’s simply brilliant. They go down easy and you don’t have that nasty feeling you get a typical fast food burger.

This place was on diners drive-ins and dives! It is a local favorite if you live in the dayton area. I love the food and the tradition!!! I always get the cheese rite. Fries would be a GREAT addition. Times are changing!

To much hype. I didn't see the big deal of a maid-rite. Dry crumbally might be beef no real flavor on a small white bun. They don't take cards rip you off with in-store ATM 3-5 %fee. I guess at least you can say you had one.

This place is known all over the world. They make a Sandwich known only by the name Made Rite. The building has been known to be a place covered in gum and change, but don't let that fad fool you. The food is well worth the stop. I first heard of Made Rite at work out of town in Indiana. Several people laughed when I told them I had never been there. Since then, Made Rite has become a family gathering place.

A must-stop in Greenville! Delicious loose beef sandwiches!! And the best milkshakes! It's just as fun to watch them make the sandwiches as they are to eat!

You know a place has good food when you wait in line every time you go, well worth the wait.

We were looking for a place to eat, and came across Maid-Rite. It wasn't what it was hyped up to be. I found that the Maid-Rite sandwich was not at all made right, it was just some bland, loose meat between two pieces of soggy bread. I couldn't even eat the whole thing and left there still hungry. On top of that, they don't even give free refills, or any kind of discount refills for that matter you have to buy a whole new drink. Yet I must say, the gum wall was pretty cool.

The gum wall is a must see if you're in the area or are looking for something unique to see. Their loose meat sandwiches are different compared to the classic hamburger but still very delicious. The lines can get long on the weekends but the wait typically isn't to hateful. Even on the busy days it's worth the wait.

Best sandwiches ever. If made properly. Last time they weren't as good. Lacking in meat. Forgot the onion

Maid-Rites! What a hidden gem this place is. Tucked away from plain sight is this humble hole in the wall that serves loose meat sandwiches or as some say the sloppy Joe without the slop. Inexpensive but amazing are these sandwiches. Bring cash for they don't except cards and good like on your hike to this mouth watering mecha!

Good food. Great loose meat sandwiches. Great malts. An institution. That said it's time to end the juvenile practice of placing used chewing gum on the exterior. The everybody does it attitude of some patrons is immaturity I'm the extreme. Grow up. Be sure to bring cash, no cards accepted.

"Driving up to this place, I saw that the cars were flooding into the street. This is my kind of place. It shows that they've got a little bit of fire and ice. Business and fun at the same time. I got to spit my gum at an incoming car on the side of the street. I was satisfied with my accurate aiming. The cars were moving me slowly towards the order window. My mouth was dry and arid from the tasteless gum that was in my mouth. I moistened my kisser at the thought of tasting a precious "Cheese-rite." I waited five minutes as I slowly moved closer towards the bumpy brick provider of my dearest treasure. I was mere inches away from the wall of this building. I was happy to see that there was a free gum dispenser on the wall. Lucky, because I needed more ammo for my next target practice session. The person at the window asked me what I wanted to eat. I quivered my lips and uttered the sweetest words of desire. "Ch-ch-cheese-r-rite." They gave me the cast of pity, as the look of desperation trickled out of the emotion in my eyeballs. I drove towards the parking lot of the Maid-Rite Sandwich Shoppe. I couldn't wait until the source of my yearning touched my impoverished mouth. The impact of the contact between cheese, rite, and mouth caused my taste buds to go into a frenzy of ecstasy. This was my greatest moment."
