My apartment is very moderate/fair condition. Convenient to grocery stores and interstate. Also emergency/ hospitals. Upgrades to property improved.

HORRIBLE APARTMENTS!!!!!! I just moved in a few weeks ago and thank God I won't be here long. They did a sloppy job remodeling the upgraded apartments. In the two weeks I've been here the police have been called three times. The leasing staff are nasty and rude. DO NOT MOVE HERE!! HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE place to live!

Maintenance personnel came to fix ac unit. Instead of standing on solid wood chair 5 feet from the air conditioner her decided to grab a wicker chair from a different room and his foot went through it. When I brought this to managements attention she didn't like the term "what the hell" and actually called the cops. After moving I find a $500 unpaid balance on my credit score they're claiming from wall damage due to water stains their broken ac caused.

So this is my first apartment away from my parents. Let's start with the first apartment. When we moved in we had dead cockroaches all over the floor, but was reassured that it was just the aftermath of them spraying and fixing the issue. Which was not the case at all. I had killed a total of 23 cockroaches before I finally wanted to move apartments. So I moved to an apartment upstairs because that's all that was available. All was well for like two weeks. Now they are starting to appear in my new apartment. First I killed a baby, then tonight (1/11/17) I killed a HUGE one. I am at my breaking point. The only reason this post has two stars is because the people who work here do care, and are trying their best to fix the situation. The manager and staff are as helpful as they can be. They need to bomb this whole building, or they will just be pushing them around. I wish I could attach pictures to this to show you the size of some of these cockroaches. I do not recommend moving into Madison village. This will be an interesting year.

So I was told my apartment would be ready on Monday then it changed to Tuesday, then when I came to move in on Tuesday guess what my apartment was NOT ready at all. So now I have been in my apartment for almost 2 weeks. There are mice, my garbage disposal electrocuted me, I am still missing window screens, my thermostat does not work, my back door locks were broken, my screen door is broken, my shower head was leaking, the tiles in the tub are loose and falling off, none of the glass protectors on my fan were even screwed on they were just kind of dangling, and when I leave a message or an email I am already not getting calls or emails back which is awesome. I guess its going to be an interesting 15 months. !!!

I have lived in these apartments for two years, and have really enjoyed my time here.

The staff has always been friendly and helpful, especially Valerie. If there has been anything I need or have concerns about the office and management were helpful, and didn't give me a hard time.

Maintenance is pretty quick considering they only have a few people for multiple units.

I have never had any problems with crime nor have I ever felt unsafe living here.

All in all this is a good place to live and I will being recommending people to come here.

Horrible place is the nicest thing I can say about my experience at Mad Village. I moved to Indy for work in June of 2015. Didn't have time to research neighborhoods or many apartments. I chose Madison Village because it offered me some private outdoor space, allowed pets and had washer and dryer. Within the first week of living there, I came home to find water in my kitchen. I was told It was from my washing machine and the problem was fixed. A few days later, I came home to find my kitchen flooded due to heavy rain. Maintenance came by to remedy the situation which was a joke at best. Needless to say my apartment flooded every time it rained. I had water 7 out of the 9 weeks I lived there along with black mold. My brand new car was dented and scratched by the out of control kids (animals) that run wild day and night. I asked to be let out of my lease since Mad Village broke their contract with me by not providing a habitable living environment. In the end, they made me pay an additional month of rent which I couldn't even live there due to the mold and water, and then made me pay back the discounted amount the gave me when I signed my lease. All told, it cost me 1000.00 to move out due to their piss poor management and horrible apartments. 1000.00 to move in and 1000 to move out, I guess that's the cost of doing business with Madison Village. If you are looking for an apartment in this area keep looking, I wouldn't recommend this dump to my worst enemy. Unless your into black mold and bed bugs, then this is the place for you.

10 year resident!! Not one complaint. Great property that is close to everything, yet tucked away from the main street.
