Love this place. Spent $30 and saved $178. First time there but not the last.
Staff is busy but the prices are great.

The worst Macy's ever. I've seen those in WA, CA, HI, ID, etc., but this one is the worst one. The customer service is "0" at most times, it takes a while to find an associate to ring a transaction, or make a return. Returns are inconsistent: I had once to run to the store to pay a balance of $0.22 on a due date because their system initiated the return incorrectly between a credit card and a gift card. 10 miles trip for that, otherwise I would be hit by penalty for nothing.
I watched one day how the employees run in the store in the morning right before the opening, and park their cars right by the entrance leaving further away spots for the customers. Such a shame! I worked in one of the Macy's in WA long time ago, and we were required to park as remotely as possible. The quality of the clothing became sub par. At this point I'd rather shop at Ross to save my money and get the same customer service. I am trying to get rid of the balance of my gift card for forever unsuccessfully since I can't find anything worth while anymore to spent it on, but again stuck with a return of very uncomfortable boots today. I'll have to buy some cosmetics and never come here again.
I was very disappointed when I went to Macy's Dulles Town Center today. Its become an outlet store. Their china department is a small corner one the first floor. The whole back of the first floor is what they call "backstage" and is simply an outlet. Even in the better wear on the 2nd floor they have racks of "leftovers" on sale. As for Women's clothing, don't even try. They didn't even have a Trim the Tree shop this year. No wonder Macy's is going out of business in some malls. I figure Dulles Town Center isn't far behind.
Store is unorganized and staff are not cooperative or friendly. I have placed 2 online orders for store pickup and never received a text, email or phone call to notify me that the product is there. I feel like the store is a 'lower" level Macy's and not of the caliber of the higher end Macy's. I only go there because it is close to my house. Otherwise I wouldn't bother.
i was in Men`s section looking Dress suits ,asked the counter person to help for looking to my size and he was very rudely ignored me ,and during check out that big Fat Man`s behavior very insulting to me. very Bad staff and experience.
