My husband and I absolutely love this place. Friendly staff, best fresh baked goods we've had anywhere here and they have a separate area for you to enjoy your coffee and donut away from the busyness that walks in to order. We will definitely come back here multiple times again whenever we visit Mackinaw.

Here on our honeymoon.. came in two mornings in a row.. staff was very kind.. place smells AMAZING.. coffee and donuts are also AMAZING.. great 100% customer service by all staff .. will be coming back when we return .

The Mackinaw Bakery has been one of our must-stop destinations in the area for my entire life. They are celebrating their 40th year this year, and for good reason. Great donuts and breads at good prices made and sold by nice people. They do have WiFi and plenty of space, as well as a nice little shop on the north side of the bakery. Could not recommend it more highly!

Talk about a hidden treasure. This little Barker is just off the main strip in the city. I asked a local where we could get some good coffee and expecting them to say a big chain coffee shop I was happy when they suggested here. The ladies that run the place were patient and used to dealing with tourists. There is a gift shop attached as well so you can browse while waiting on your coffee. The baked good smelled wonderful and the bread was a nice addition to the afternoon meal.

I go here every time I am in town just to get some bread, or rolls, or whatever random goodies they've got knocking around.

The place to go for a cappuccino or coffee. Local, good prices, friendly service, and delicious donuts. We were there off-season, so the service was fast which we were grateful for based on other reviews of it being too busy. Go on Tuesday afternoon, and you might even find a knitting group sipping their tea and chatting away. Extra tip: the "pasties" (with gravy) are amazing - what's that you ask? You'll just have to embrace the local food to find out for yourself.
