Local College bar sink or swim on Fridays the only redeeming quality this bar has is a staff is always nice. The food is typical Third Rate bar food. If your older than 25 this is not the place for you. If you're under 25 your expectations are low go for it.

I don't really like this place. This abyss is too dirty at night and the security are obnoxious at best. They've been known to fight customers on a regular basis. If you're a 21 year old looking for the most obnoxious bar in Soho, this is it. If you do find yourself trapped in this cesspool because your family and friend drag you out even though all of you are in your 30s, find Jackie at the outside bar that's tucked away in a corner. She's rather nice and won't sell you jello shots.

Nice atmosphere with decent bartenders. Great for the under 30 crowd. I attended a birthday party there on a Friday. It was suppose to just be the starter spot but we ended up partying it up through 3 a.m. There was some areas available to sit near the bars (there are a lot of bars!) inside and out.

Great place to drink and party here. They always have specials here depending on the day. Check the website for the specials. It's a college crowd usually at MacDinton's. Great drinks depending on which bartender you go to. I never have had a bad time here. If you was fun MacDinton's is the place to be.

This bar is awesomeuntil you go into the bathroom. There is a lady that is AGGRESSIVELY trying to sell mouth wash for $10 a cup.

Not really an Irish bar. More like a club that serves Guinness. Bar tender kept ignoring for some dudes that were all swagged out. Stood there for about 10 minutes and then walked out. I do not recommend this place at night unless you are looking for a weird Irish bar club and to be ignored. This has happened more than once, and came back to give benefit of the doubt. In the day they are more attentive and do not play club music.

I was having a good night until I was rudely demanded to leave after getting caught bringing a small 8oz rum bag (which I already know I was clearly was in the wrong for and that's why I left without an argument) bc the drinks in my opinion are a little too weak I was still purchasing alcohol drinks not just coke or anything. While waiting outside where the first bouncer told me to stand for my girl to close out my tab and retrieve my card, another bouncer outside started rudely demanding me to leave the premises immediately or else he would "make me". Then when my girl came out with the drinks that we paid for mind you, instead of him doing his job and informing us we couldn't take them outside he just rudely snatches the drink out of my hand splashing it on me and my clothes and throws it away as he pushes me out to the street ripping my brand new button up shirt.. As a small business owner in the transportation industry, I would expect a more professional way of handling paying patrons in the event they break your rules. It seems to me the security/bouncers rather just fight patrons instead of finding a peaceful resolution.

My husband was physically assaulted by their security. He had an argument with another party but peacefully resolved it. Even offered to buy them beer. I guess the security didn't see it like that and told himto leave. As my husband was walking out one security guy with a black beard shoved him to the ground. Then told him he was going to "beat his ass" if he didn't leave even though he was trying to. Seems like the security were more interested in fighting than helping people.

I used to love this bar, it was always a must every time I go to soho. However I don't intend on going back since my last visit. The bartender was rude and complained about making waters. I spend good money on drinks here so to complain because you're not getting tipped for two WATERS is ridiculous. The other barback inside threw my drink away then when I asked her about my drink she acted like she didn't know. Lastly this place place is way overcrowded. Only good thing is the bathroom attendant and the cool bouncers. ill start sticking with the saloon.

My group pulled into the parking lot and apparently parked wrong, without realizing that we are blocking the driveway. The female bartender ran out to the parking lot, yelling "Yo, yo, yo, you can't park here!" at my group. Of course, we would have reparked no problem had we been talked to politely! But after that kind of treatment, my group just couldn't imagine going to MacDinton's to celebrate my boyfriend's special day, so we just picked up and went to the bar across the street.

Was not allowed in because the bouncer thinks he owns the place. I provided my ID and a valid state issued document. Still not enough. Bouncer please, I'm worth 3 times more than you, even owner would agree. Please enjoy your worthless nights. I'm sure they're quite meaningful.

Being from NY, and attending UT this is one of my favorite bars anywhere. Anyone from college, local businesses, and family members can go here and have a great time. Happy hour deal is amazing. Yes it's packed for it but if you just show up a little bit early you'll be fine. I miss this bar every Friday and plan on attending as soon as I make my return!
