  Friendly and helpful! Although they couldn't cut my key from just using the code (Jaguar, no place in the state can for some reason), they tried their best and beyond. They did give me other options that I may resort to using, but not yet. Regardless, I still like this place.

  I called this place to find out about the cost for them to come and change my business door lock and a really unprofessional guy answered the phone, without even asking where I was located he told me that to come and change the lock of my door it will cost between $150-200, I was astonished and upset as I had already contacted two other places that were not available as sooner as I need it, and were charging the same rate $45 for service call and 5 per key. After I confronted him about their inflated rate, he started to ask me more questions, as where I was location and what type of door I needed the services for. If I am you, I will stay far from this place, really unprofessional and they seem to be fishing for unaware people who can pay their inflated rate. I read the others reviews and it seems I am not the only one who got the impression of them been unprofessional. Really sad! As business owner there is nothing I wish to other business but success, this one is a place of concern.

  We called them to repair a lock which they came and "repaired". Before the end of the day, the door was back to broken. We called to have them come back and three weeks later they finally came and told us it would need to be replaced. When they came to replace it, they wouldn't put the money I payed for them to "repair" the lock toward what I owed them for the new lock. The staff wasn't very professional either. A month later, I finally got my door fixed! If you have that kind of time and money to throw away, call mac's!

  Great car lockout service. They were fast and professional. And they didn't play any games with pricing. They told me up front how much it would cost, and they stuck with that price.

  I called ahead and got a price quote. I then told they guy on the phone I am on my way. Got here and the guy was so rude that I didn't show up before 4pm (I got here at 420pm). I explained the guy never told me to be here before 4 when I called at 410. I then listened to him talk down to the other guy that I guess answered the phone. Then under his breath said "stupid". I apologized but realized why am I apologizing for him being rude!! The place is gross dirty. And as I sit here there is an older guy (owner? Boss? Supervisor?) that is just being a jerk and sarcastic and rude. They are also talking about me while I sit here typing this. Ugh! Just very poor customer service!! I am so surprised on the rudeness. I should have paid the extra $100 to get a key made at Toyota!!

  Totally unprofessional and treat customers very poorly. The employees were very rowdy and were joking around with each other while us customers were waiting in their disorganized display racks. It felt like I was back in junior high in the boys locker room all over again. I saw/heard a very unfriendly manager interfacing with a woman who had young kids with her. The customer had called her husband to verify something and the manager ended up talking to the husband over the woman's cell phone. The manager not only hung up on the husband but also ended up tossing the woman's cell phone on the counter instead of handing it back to her. I will definitely avoid this place in the future.

  My Honda Odyssey ignition switch failed. They came within a half hour of the call. They did a great job and by the afternoon everything was good as new. Saved me so much hassle. I didn't have to tow the vehicle or pay the dealership prices for parts and service. The bill was very fair and they keep me updated on any price changes as some additional parts were needed. I highly recommend them for any locksmith needs in Bountiful. Would do business with them again.

  I love Mac's Lock & Key. Not only did they replace the battery in my Automobile Clicker, but also in my garage door clicker. They are fast, reasonably priced, and I love the banter in the store. We have also used them to have our office keys redone and locks redone. If it is not right the first time or if the key has any trouble, you need only to let them know and they will come back and get it fixed. They are also Mobile, which is really nice.

  Wow what can I say about this lock and key shop. Never had needed them before until I got stranded at a gas station in Bountiful. They offered me the cheapest fix first and then went from there. I walked about a mile to them and they drove me back to the car and made sure it would start. They resolved the issue so I could get the car driving. Excellent staff and owner. Prices were very reasonable. I have nothing but a great and positive experience from them.
