This is a nice, quiet campground with clean toilets and drinking water. The forest has been ravaged by beetles and majority of the trees in the area are dying or dead, but the lake was nice. We went on the busy Labor Day weekend and there were still several walk -up sites available. Good fire pits and most sites have steel tables which were great for our dutch ovens. If you're looking to get away from some of the busy areas on the south face of the Uintas, try this area on the north side.
Every campground is perfectly located to the lake and has a beautiful view.
Beautiful campground. The fishing was great also.
The campground was nice but all the beetle kill trees are sad. I wish there were a couple more water spigots so we didn't have to go as far to fill our jugs. We enjoyed the lake. The hosts kept the campground looking nice.
Scout troop stayed for three days. Excellent fishing, hiking, mountain biking, and kayaking. Beautiful sights. Camp hosts were perfect.
