We are so far enjoying our time with IWD schools. Our child has an excellent kindergarten teacher and even though we aren't terribly happy about our bus route, we really like our bus driver!! My child has general academics, gym, music, art and comes home generally happy, which is what's important. The office staff has always been helpful when I've been in contact with them.

Not born and raised here and choosing a school in this area was not easy there are many options, school of choice is common around here, and things are just done a little different here. Be careful with what you hear. Remember there's two sides to every experience. And just take the time to research all options in this area. Request a tour and teacher meet n greet with each district to decide which one will work for your child (like we did). Every student, and their needs, is different.

I went to this school for a year. The reviews are a little miss leading bus drivers are very nice and sweet, teachers do there jobs and only mess around with the kids. The lunches could be better but they are edible. I made many good friends including teachers. Many negative reviews but I feel like I should tell the good parts of the school.

This school's staff and related staff/family through any other educational schools outside this state, even over the border of WI. has no right to tell my FAMILY and I that we need to remove post, because of relatives of LL wright's staff working in other school systems have a problem with the truth about this issue that has nothing to do with the staff/family, this is about my child/children and turn one problem into another, so we will see where this will go ,time to take a leap for my bill of rights remember the A.C.L.U!!! ,AND teach them bus drivers how to drive ,just smash my car, backed right into it when picking up my child real sad, maybe a DRUG test for all BUS drives and STAFF, watch out for our children and vehicles!!!

This school sucks as far as teachers that are supposed to be educators, but instead they would rather cause mental stress for our children. Bully the children just like children do, the teachers are the main source to the problem here, and try to get our children on medication. Sorry teachers not everyone that lives in ironwood are meth heads that want their children on amphetamines. Like the teachers must be on one just to go to work everyday. We as a community need to come together and put a stop to teachers bulling and calling our children names. Get rid of the staff and start over with new, or send our children to Bessemer and shut down Luther L Wright.

this is an awful school. i dont know of one single parent that is at least satisfied with this school, myself included. its so bad that some people even move to hurley to avoid it.
