This place is simply amazing! After walking in to a little shop that smells like heaven (cheese is my weakness but I am from Wisconsin), we knew we had found a great spot! We got a table in the pretty little courtyard and ordered the large cheese plate (10 cheeses). Then, I saw the chef preparing the tomato soup with so much care, I had to have that too - good decision! The 5 wine tastes for $5 was perfect and I followed up with a glass of a delicious, inexpensive zinfandel.
I wasn't hungry enough to try more - although my heart really wanted the mushroom and swiss chard ravioli with brown sage butter. We each had another 5 tastes and then finished with dessert and port.
That experience at their places made our weekend!
Great wine tastings, patient workers make the tastings great.

My favorite place to buy beer. Love the wide variety of beers, but what makes Lucia's Bodega so good is the knowledge of the staff. I tell them what kind of beer I am looking for, and they point out two or three different brands, many of which I have never heard of before. And they have not recommended something I did not like yet
