I arrived and an employee for American showed me how to check in with the

machine. All were pleasant and helpful. They got me a wheelchair, stopped, fixed my coffee and took me to the gate. Every year a pleasant experience

The TSA precheck line is usually closed when I travel through this airport. So don't waste your money on precheck if you use SDF often. Expect a long screening line and to have to take out all of your electronics and completely empty your pockets no matter what kind of card they give you. Once they get your laptop out of its case, they toss it around like it's a basketball.

Stanford Field (SDF) is Louisville's International airport. I honestly think that the airport is pretty nice, and has a great facility. There is a pretty good Starbucks in the center of the airport. It is a good place to grab some quick coffee while waiting for your flight. And don't worry, there are many general areas to sit down. Also, the staff are kind, and helpful, so you don't miss your flight! In addition, the facilities, such as the restrooms are kept very clean. Usually the only problem is that the lines can be a little too long the day there are a bunch of flights going out, but other than that, SDF is pretty good.

    Very very disappointing service.
No free WiFi, TSA closes at 8:00 pm. And opens at 5:00am in the morning. So guys if your flight is in the early morning, 5:00am or 5:30am (especially people traveling with delta airlines), you better spend night at the airport. Because they made me do it. They told me to do security check at 7:55 pm as my flight was in the early morning at 5:20am.
    No flights after 10:00pm.
It’s a shame on the name of an international airport.
Even food courts closes at 8:30-9:00 pm.
I wanted to give 0 star but it’s not an option here.
    So 0/5.

Ground services are extremely slow. Airport is nice and recently upgraded with a couple better restaurant options then before.
Just need to speed up baggage and ground services to be 5 stars.

Poorly staffed everywhere. Typical small town airport that should just shut down and leave it to cities that can provide the proper services.

One of the worst airports I have ever been through, and I have been through many both nationally and internationally. No skycaps, poor directions in & out, and no one that worked there was even remotely helpful or outgoing. I have been in airports that are not even half this size & they have tons of skycaps. With all the horse show people coming through here many times a year with a lot of horse equipment you would think they would have skycaps.

Great airport. Easy to get around. Never had a problem with the airport but some of the airlines are not that great.

There are advantages and disadvantages of being a smaller airport. There aren't as many flight options, which sometimes means paying more. However, it's much less crowded. I've never had trouble making my flight with time to spare when getting there 90 minutes ahead of time. At other airports, 2 full hours aren't enough!

There's plenty of room for people to go. The renovations are being handled fairly well, but there's still sober bustling and moving around. The employees are really nice, though. They offered us rides through the long arrival terminal when we arrived late at night.

It's great fun to watch the UPS Rush Hour while riding roller coasters across the street at Kentucky Kingdom. It really adds to your amusement park experience. I've never been a passenger on the commercial airlines side of this Airport, but I have flown a private plane into it and ATC and line services are excellent.

Sensible layout. Comfortable waiting area seating. Beautiful views of the sunrise and sunset. There are delicious vegan friendly snacks and drinks. My only complaint is that each time I've come through this airport, my flight has been SEVERELY delayed (flying United) which was a huge problem for me because I was flying internationally with multiple flight connections and each time I ended up missing my flights and having to reschedule and lengthen my travel time.
