Security is on their job here making everyone feel safe. Great stores and awesome food court with family restrooms which are such a great help.
I never thought I'd say this but really wish there where more malls spread out like there used to be Nower days seems like you have to drive 25 plus miles to find a real mall which I like my kids to go to the mall go hangout with there friends like kids used to do when I was a kid .be great if they put an arcade in the malls just like they all use to have.I think people and children need to get back to interacting and going out but louis mall is nice clean from My experience visiting a place And as I said it's nice to see a full mall still in operation and clean
Considering on how small the Louis Joliet Mall is, it is fun to browse around and enjoy the vast number of popular stores. The food court is also a great attraction. It is a convenient commute from my residence.
Would give 5 starts if it still had a Gloria Jeans coffee. I mean it's a mall I'm not sure what one is expecting when going here. It didn't seem like a "dangerous" place to be so I can appreciate that.
This is a very family friendly mall. Love the store selections, love that they have a play place for the kids, love that they have a theatre there, and love that they always have clean restrooms and a family restroom. Shopping here is always a good time.
I'm completely shocked by this new rule they've implemented to put restrictions on teens. I've had great memories growing up here with friends, none of them rowdy at all. Unless you consider eating Pretzels, buying T-shirts, and laughing to be outrageous. I guess I'll have to find another mall that's more accepting towards teens to make purchases at.
I love this mall, great stores throughout, good selections
at the food court, movie theaters, and the surrounding eara outside the mall has also a variety of other restaurants, worth a great day of getting out to shop, eat, all in the same zone.
I used to frequent this mall alot in 1996~97.. A branch of the Joliet Public Library was here then.. It has changed, for the better I think..
The Louis Joliet Mall is a great place to shop. It is always clean and well-lit. There is a great selection of stores. There is also several movie theaters and many places to choose from where you can eat.
Would be nice if they closed down furry babies. No mall should be allowed to have a store selling abused puppymill puppies. Heartbreaking :(
Mall needs to be enlarged!!! We live in a town of over 100,000. We deserve better!!! Along the lines of a Fox Valley mall!!! Seems like all the same stores!!! Nothing really changes!!! Don't go there very offen at all for that reason!!!
Was on field trip w/my son's 8th grade field trip. We stopped from Chicago at the mall for the food court. Staff at the food places were efficient in serving all of us (we had 3 charter busloads). We didn't get to explore within the mall because there was not enough time. The mall seemed clean inside & out from what I could see.
Seems to be recently renovated, clean mall. We are new to the area and have only been a couple times so we're still trying to figure our way around, it's layout is kind of maze-like to me. Has a few anchor stores and mall staples like Bath and Body Works and Victoria's Secret. Overall I'd recommend if you're just popping in to do some regular shopping, doesn't have very many "unique" stores though.
The mall can be nice but during the weekends is overbearing with tons of teenagers. Last time I was there the feds had a shoot out with a drug dealer in the parking lot by Tilt a Kilt. They do have a ton of stores and a good food court. Bathrooms were recently updated and are nice family areas also. The theater is the biggest reason that I go there.
It's a safe place for parents and their children because it's a perfect size to remember every store location. Most people don't remember the mall very well so there are maps around the mall that could help you get their. If your kids get lost security would take care of them until they find you and they would ask them as many questions they can to find you or contact you. Most of the parents teach their kids where to go when they get lost and most of the kids go to security which is near the movies. Also some kids go to the big tree in the mall because there parents thought them. The mall has good food and good stores that have good deals mostly every day which I like because I'm not a fan of big prices.
