Enjoy some peace and quiet, with only the sound of the waterfall.
Great trail, not too tough, even in the cold and slight mud. Beautiful rock formations, and the fall at the end is totally worth it. So unusual. Never seen a waterfall just go into a rocky crevasse like that, no pool at the bottom or anything. A great way to spend a family afternoon.
The falls are a beautiful and peaceful reward for getting off the couch and getting active. Loose dirt on steep slope down sink is risk to navigate so watch your step at sink.
My lady actually found this Falls while searching for a waterfall and since her and I am also my brother who lives up there had never been we decided to go find it. It's a bit of a climb as it goes up but levels out in some places. Hike is moderate but it is beautiful none the less, the views at the end were worth it as the falls itself were running and made a nice waterfall. Fell nothing short or pretty amazing. Would definitely tell people about this gem and if you're in the area go find it.
After the mildly strenuous hike up here, the sound of rushing water was certainly a wondrous thing, with much cooler air than the surrounding landscape. Unfortunately the area around the falls themselves are closed due to the fragile nature of the landscape, but that doesn't hinder your view.
Moderate hike to a really unusual waterfall. We had a family from 4 to 64. Took it slow but we all made it. Also interesting rock formations and a few wildflowers along the way.
Serenity!
Beautiful waterfall in a large sink hole. The trail head starts at the Keel Mountain Preserve.
