STOP THE RAINBOW TRAIL ASPHALT PLANT!

**Enjoy a pint of the Kiss my [Ass]phalt Schwarzbier anytime next Tuesday 4/16 and all proceeds will go to High Country Watch to help fight the Rainbow Trail Asphalt plant from being built.**

At Lost Province Brewing Co, we need clean water to brew quality beer. As a business in the High Country community, we are committed to protecting air quality, the headwaters of the New River, and the natural beauty that makes Boone so special. We are a small FAMILY business with kids and grandkids in schools near the proposed asphalt plant, and homes neighboring the property, and we refuse to sit idly by and let this asphalt plant be built when it will negatively affect the air and water quality in Boone.

Join us and other concerned citizens in the community in speaking out against this asphalt plant next Tuesday, April 16th at 4:30 in front of the Watauga County administrative building prior to the Watauga County Commissioners meeting at 5:30. All community members are encouraged to stay for the meeting for public comment. Please wear GREEN to show your support!

5 years ago, our fearless leader Andy Mason (AKA Dr. Beer) decided to “retire” to follow a dream. Has he aged well??

Andy started brewing back in 1989 before brewing was officially cool. He graduated in 1986 with his PhD in Medicinal Chemistry from UNC Chapel Hill, and worked as the Chief Forensic Toxicologist for the state of NC before opening his own forensic consulting firm. Not many other brewers can say they’ve both studied and analyzed the effect of alcohol consumption and brewed the stuff! Andy went on to receive numerous national homebrew awards before realizing his dream of opening his own brewery in 2014.

Let's settle something once and for all. To drink milk by itself, or not to drink milk by itself? What do y'all think?

Either way, we've got the tastiest milk in town and the best eggs around! We're excited to start ordering food from High Country Food Hub and serving the community with fresh, local foods from farms like Cheek Farmstead Creamery and Mountain Memories Farm. Go check 'em out and show some love!!
