We are a trio of conscientious entrepreneurs on a mission to support local brick + mortar shops by providing an online e-commerce website that unites local businesses on a single platform while making it easy for consumers to shop locally online. At launch Locatile will feature shops from downtown Crystal Lake, Lake Zurich, and Woodstock Illinois with opportunities to expand across Chicagoland and beyond. Brick + mortar small retail businesses need assistance. Spending locally keeps the lights on, it keeps local people employed and owners able to keep going. When you spend local the impact of those dollars stimulate the local economy. Yet there are barriers + hurdles that prevent shoppers from spending more funds in local small businesses. It's either lack of knowledge of store offerings or where they are located, or the lack of time/willingness to shop in person due to the pandemic, which is an added deterrent. Plus spending habits are trending online and a majority of boutique shops do not offer e-commerce sites. Locatile will partner with small businesses to build awareness for their stores, facilitate the virtual e-commerce marketplace and acquire online customers. Our focus is putting service before profit. We are crowdsourcing so we can onboard local shops who wish to participate FREE of charge. As more funds are contributed, the more shops can onboarding without any upfront costs.Locatile is building the virtual shopping platform and beta testing with several early adopters. Locatile is proud members of Downtown Crystal Lake and the Woodstock Chamber of Commerce. Locatile has ramped up its development, marketing and testing and we are on pace to bring this service to the market by the beginning of 2021.Locatile will make shopping locally online easy uniting shops on one platform.
