Out of town, saw this place decided to stop since im a lover of lobster. Service was not great, Asian owned they can be not so warm at times. It took a long time for me to get a lobster roll (which is cold) and fries. Food wasnt horrible, but it was just ok. Probably would not rush to come back of i were in town again.
Horrible experience! Planned on trying a local place because we aren’t from the area. The only events listed in their website was for the 1st Saturday’s of the month. We arrived at 6pm on a Thursday. There was a woman sitting at a table before we were able to get to the bar who demanded a $5 cover charge for a DJ that was coming later in the evening. We explained we had movie tickets and would have to leave by 6:45 and planned on just sitting at the bar. Apparently this local pub would rather lose paying customers, makes no sense.
Great food at a great price. My wife and I have visited about 6 times and it keeps getting better. Highly recommended.
Had a good time with my gf family going here. It was all our first time going to this restaurant and we hall had positive responses to the various seafood dishes we ate. I had the cajun boiled mix which was delightful. Overall the food was solid and the service was on point answering our questions and getting our food put on timewould recommend
Staying at the best Western next door and thought to myself, oh I love lobster and I get a 10% discount. Figured I'd give it a try. I got a lobster roll with fries. Terribly disappointing. You can see the size of the pitiful yet tasty lobster ROLL that was suppose to be on a sourdough ROLL. Mine was on a piece of sourdough bread. Extremely disappointing. Only giving 2 stars cause it tasted great however, it was literally 5 bites. Paid 3 dollars extra for the fries that were the equivalent of small McDonald's fries.
Lovely and super affordable salad bar! Nice portions of tasty shellfish. Amazingly fast and friendly service.
My family and I have been coming to the Lobster Pub for about 2 months. Today I decided to order two of their lobster tails for 9.99 each. I wanted to have them in there Garlic Butter Old Bay sauce. The waitress came back to and told me there will be a 5 dollar up charge. I asked to speak with the manager, and He let me know that the the lobster tails are a specialty item. I let him know that it should say that on the menu. Basically, I didn't get what I wanted and Lobster Pub lost a sale.
Tried, but couldn't find much of anything wrong with this spot. Food is good, prices are great, selection is ample. If you can't get OK with this place then something is wrong with you. . Will most definitely be back here next time in town. guess if I had to say something that could be construded on the down side it be that there be more grilled or broiled options to some of the seafood. Fish tacos are the bomb and seafood boils are great all day Sunday through Thursday happy hour prices are some of the best around
They offered items on the menu that they did not have. Like lobster and soft shell crab, the best items on the menu. They told us after we were eating the appetizers. We didn't like the taste of the seasoning and the soup was cans soup.
Food is not bad. I liked it better when they were a tapas bar. However, I agree with other reviews that the service is not good. Only the bar seems to have people but the bartenders are rarely around. I waited 15 minutes for someone to come by with empty beer and food plate. Finally went to the bathroom and they managed to find to to take all my stuff while I was gone.
Bad service and don't care. Just pay the bill never checked how dinner was. Empty dinning room but order was not right when it arrived.
Why hire people don't understand English or customer service. No wonder why the place was empty. Here for work wanted nice dinner for my birthday.
Not the place to choose.
I've been here twice since October 2016. I really enjoyed this place. Everything on the menu is made from scratch and is fresh. I had the soft shelled crab which I loved. My friend had the crab cakes. Both of us really enjoyed our time and the service was great. It is a little pricey but its seafood, so it is so be expected. I will be back!
We decided to try the local lobster place rather than the chain nearby and we were pleasantly surprised! The lobster cheese dip was great, and we both had the seasame salmon and loved it. There are several other things on the menu we would like to try if we get to come back. They have lobster bisque and a large salad bar. The drink menu is nicely varied. We also took some mango mousse to go and it was light and delicious (looks like a slice of cheesecake but it's lighter and very mango! )
Lobster Pub has been in this location since June 2016, so disregard the reviews older than that since they are from the 365 Bistro that used to be here. Give this place a try and you may love it.
