Very nice memorial site to Lincoln; had not realized his mother is buried there. His sister and only full sibling, Sarah, is buried in the Little Pigeon church graveyard in the adjacent Lincoln State Park.

Unfortunately, the exhibits were mostly under construction when we were there, and it was not a very nice day when we stopped there, so the tour outside was quick (and the farm wasn't manned, so no demos/info), but normally, this is a nice place to visit - good stop on the way down 231 to stretch your legs and get a little fresh air while learning a little something.

Absolutely a fantastic National Park to visit, and best of all, it was pretty much all to ourselves. At the time we visited, there were no other visitors at the park. There’s plenty of hiking trails and replicas of Lincoln’s childhood home. Also, allow the 15 minutes to watch the video at visitors museum. It will help to tie in the park and the points of interest. Also, be sure to visit the Lincoln State Park across from the National Park to visit the grave of Lincoln’s sister, Sarah Rigsby.

Great place with great history. Nice place to learn about one of our most important presidents. It was a period specific farm similar to what Abe Lincoln would have loved on. Also, it has trails and other important markers from Abe Lincoln's youth. The museum the accompanies it is a nice place that has various artifacts about Lincoln's time in Indiana before moving to Illinois. I recommend to people who are interested in learning about Lincoln to take a visit.

liked it. very pretty, uncrowded and easy walking trails with points of interest sprinkled along the paths. doesn't take long to walk them. we did not take the 1 mile loop tho. the visitor's center is beautiful and bathrooms inside are very nice!

Very interesting area! Video shown in the museum was very nice and informative. I learned a couple of things I was not aware of concerning Lincoln and I consider myself to be pretty knowledgeable on this subject. The area around here is gorgeous. (Including the state park that is just across the road.)

This was a great place to visit. My two year old daughter was given a workbook to complete by the staff and she had a great time visiting the cabin and farm.

Learned so much about Lincoln's childhood that I never knew. Great exhibits with information about both Abe and his parents. Nice mile hiking path loop takes you to Nancy Hanks Lincoln gravemarker, recreated Lincoln farm, footprint of Lincoln original log cabin home, and a 12 stones path with 12 other tidbits of facts and artifacts relative to the Lincoln family.

This place exceeded our expectations. There was so much to see and do here for adults and kids. There were indoor exhibits and a documentary video narrated by Leonard Nimoy. There was a small gift store with some great reference books and toys specific to the time period and Abe's family history. There was a nice walking trail with interesting historically fascinating exhibits, like a large stone that Lincoln stood on to deliver his famous Gettysburg address. The staff were pleasant and knowledgeable. We had a great time.

Really neat!
We walked the trails to the different areas with memorials and such.
Nice leisurely walk. Not difficult at all.
We did not go into the museum.
Pretty amazing to be where Lincoln lived part of his life.

Take a couple of hours to learn about Lincoln's time in Indiana. Walk through the forest and see the field where his family made their living. The Chapel inside is extremely beautiful with rich woodwork.

Fantastic memorial to Lincoln's early years. The on-site Rangers were very friendly and informative about the Museum and grounds. Very nice hiking paths, and they even have a cool little film detailing Lincoln's early years in Southern Indiana. This park is a Gem!
