  Possibly the most ovetlooked and fantastic bar in Madison. Food, service and drinks are amazing. And books.. lots of books.. ❤❤❤❤

  Pretty solid and tasty menu. The lunch special is also usually a very safe bet for delicious variety and a blessed escape from decision making for your food. You will have to choose your own beverage though and there are plenty of options. The staff are friendly and will help you out with a recommendation if you get stuck. When the weather is nice, it is a great place to get some drinks out on the patio and unwind. Very popular for lunch and happy hour so be prepared to wait for a table.

  I spent a lot of time here during undergrad at the UW and now I always make sure to stop for lunch here when I am in Madison. Good prices, fantastic food, great atmosphere. Their sandwich "The Best Turkey Sandwich" is my go-to (with cajun fries of course) and it really is the best turkey sandwich I've ever had. If you're looking for a great lunch then go to the Library, you won't be disappointed.

  I love the atmosphere here. Great music, great people, great beer. Take a look in the books on the shelves as well; you may find hidden treasures!
