  I hired Liberty for a move from Alabama to Massachusetts. It was the worst experience. The movers showed up a day and a half late and took 7 hours to load furniture from my apartment. The worst part was that 3 days later as I was driving to Massachusetts, I received a call that the driver of the moving truck was arrested for assault and the truck with my items was being impounded. It turns out the driver was a convicted felon, unbeknownst to me. It took me more than a week and dozens of phone calls, emails and affidavits to get my items released. Tyler did nothing to help me. I then had to hire a new moving company to drive from Massachusetts to Baltimore to retrieve my belongings because Liberty abandoned them there. When the new movers arrived in Baltimore, they opened the truck to find many pieces of my furniture were destroyed and others were badly scratched and dented. I had thousands of dollars of damage to my belongings. Since I had paid Tyler in full for a move that was a disaster and was never completed, I asked him for my money back. He has refused multiple times. Be careful if you are considering hiring this company. I was scammed and I don't want anyone to go through what I did. I have proof of these events as well - the signed ladling form from Liberty, emails from Tyler (who posed as "James" to me on the phone), a copy of the driver's arrest record from the police, a picture of one of the movers in a Liberty T-shirt, my bank statement showing that payment was made to Liberty Moving, and more. Tyler claims the movers I had did not work for him directly but everything proves otherwise. The bottom line, it was a Tyler who took my money and who now won't stand behind this mess. I'm out thousands of dollars and he doesn't care. Please be careful.

  We recently moved to Birmingham from out-of-state and needed help unloading our truck. Tyler and the guys at Liberty Moving were the perfect choice to help us out. They were very friendly and very efficient despite having to move several heavy items up and down stairs in our home. We would recommend Liberty Moving to anyone needing help with their move!

  I recently hired Liberty Moving and they could not have made it any easier. From start to finish they were professional, careful, and quick. They came to my house to look at everything in order to prepare an estimate(something other moving companies that I contacted were unwilling to do) and gave me what turned out to be a very accurate quote. Everything in my house was packed carefully and organized in such a way that it was very easy to unpack. I was moving out of town and not only did everyone work hard into the evening, they gave the impression that they were happy to do so. If you need moving assistance, I would HIGHLY recommend hiring Liberty Moving.

  Great company! Tyler and Chris were so easy to work with and helpful. Our movers were very professional and respectful of time. All of our things were well cared for and placed exactly where we wanted them. I could not have asked for a better experience!

  Patrick and Tyler were very nice, respectful, and professional. They were careful but worked quickly and efficiently as a team. I also really liked that unlike all the other moving companies I called, they did not include their travel time in the two hour minimum, so we paid for two hours and actually got two hours of work. There were no surprise charges; we paid exactly what I was told from the beginning. If we move again at some point, we will definitely use their services again.
