  This is a review of the opticians and staff on the store side, as I was not there to see an optometrist. Five stars for atmosphere, environment, location, and, most importantly, for service and staff! My optician's name was Mr. Marcus Minix, and he was excellent! It is obvious he really cares about his job and his customers. Although it's on Nicholasville Rd, the store itself is easy to get to b/c it's in Lexington Green behind the Shell station just off of the Nicholasville Rd exit if you're coming from New Circle. No getting into traffic for those who purposefully stay away from the busy road.
  
  As soon as I walked into the door of the store side, a sweet girl immediately greeted me and asked how I could be helped. I had to have three pairs of eyeglasses adjusted, which meant no eyeglasses sales or revenue for them. I assumed I would be taken care of and rushed out for that reason. The girl who greeted me was kind and made small talk as she directed me to a chair. I had just been to another eye vision store, but they do not carry the brand of two of my pairs, Tiffany, and the lady there had agreed that I should go somewhere that carried it. The store has a bright and positive atmosphere. The front of the business consisted of full-length windows, so there was a lot of natural lighting. The other people working who were helping others were smiling and being very conversational. I notice these things, because I appreciate people who love their job. It seemed as though one person being helped was catching up the LensCrafters employee on her family, which if you're from a small town, that is normal. To be in a business on busy Nicholasville Rd in Lexington, KY, it's not so common. That's the level of caring and individual attention this place provides. As soon as I sat down, one of the opticians, Mr. Minix, greeted me and said he would be right with me. While waiting for him, which was only a couple of minutes, another optician asked if I had been helped yet. So far, in a matter of a few minutes, three people had greeted me and asked how I could be helped. Especially at this time of year, I have to wait a while sometimes before getting helped or even greeted. Mr. Minix was very conversational, took his time, and did not rush at all. The precision with which he adjusted my glasses was impressive, and he talked and had a great sense of humor the entire time. I even asked about why they fold oddly, and he did something else to them that made them fold perfectly. I also asked him to check the pair that the other eye vision store had adjusted, and he adjusted them a little more. I liked that he is such a perfectionist with his work, a very efficient perfectionist. By the time I left, it was as if I had three brand-new pairs of perfectly folding glasses. He even made a slight adjustment to my sunglasses. While they did not make any eyeglasses sales off of me yesterday, I will return to that location when I want to purchase a new pair. Even if you go to a different optometrist than the one here at LensCrafters, I recommend going to get your glasses here. Easy all around five stars! Thank you all!

  My experience at the LensCrafters at Lexington Green was excellent. Dr. Glenn had my new prescription finished. The appointment and getting to see the doctor was smooth. Next I was next door and saw a Mr. Mike Hall. He had exactly what I was looking for as soon as I mentioned them. I then went out to lunch and my glasses were ready in about three hours. Great customer service and a professional business to deal with. I will be back.

  These eye glass stores are nothing but a scam, no matter where you go. They REFUSE to give you your prescription and dance around it to the point where it's laughable. I have called several times to try and get my eye glass specs so I can buy online (save hundreds) and they WILL NOT give it to me. I purchased my last pair of glasses here and they still will not give me the information I need. Bitchy women answer the phone as well who keep your info as if there job is on the line? Save your money and peace of mind, order online so we can put these scam companies out of business.

  I was having quite a bit of difficulty getting a new prescription nailed down - and as a result ended up making more then a few visits back. Each time I met with a different associate, each of which was amicable and competent.
  
  The last person I talked to was Denise - & she was particularly efficacious in working things out. Very measured and considerate.

  Mark the manager is amazing at his job, very friendly and makes coming here a terrific experience. The rest of the staff is very friendly and helpful as well! Would highly recommend coming to the Lexington green lens crafters for any of your eye wear needs!
