Our first 2 nights were rough. Our room was dirty and just falling apart it seemed. My husband complained and we got our room upgraded to a one bedroom suite and it feels a little better. Not sure if I would come back here in the future.

Would not stay here again. Very dated, dirty, concerning water leaks in the room. Appliances need work. Carpet was gross, wrinkled and lumpy. Bathroom ceiling falling in from moisture, probably moldy. Woke with a pounding sinus headache.

Update: After notifying the front desk of our room conditions, we were upgraded to a one bedroom suite that's much cleaner, updated, and nicer, with hard floors and newer carpets.

Staff extremely nice. Legacy Hotel building very art deco, best position on Brigadine beach with view of Atlantic City. Love Brigadine Island. Will comeback.

Left early on a honey moon. Had nothing but problems with the hotel. We were physical hurt, my car got vandalized and so much more and the resort manager Mike still wanted me to pay. I only paid for one night even though I left two days early and we initially wanted to stay a week. If he was a good resort manager he wouldn't charge me anything. STAY AWAY FROM THIS HOTEL. ABSOYLTELY TERRIBLE INSIDE AND OUT.

NEEDS A TOTAL OVERHAUL. APPLIANCES DID NOT WORK. BATHROOM CEILING LEAKED. TV KEPT GOING OFF. HOUSEKEEPING WAS AWFUL. THE ONLY REASON I GAVE IT ONE STAR IS FOR THE LOCATION. ON THE BEACH, AND WALKING DISTANCE TO NICE RESTAURANTS. ABOUT 10MIN TO AC. REALLY IS A SHAME THAT THEY HAVE LET THIS HOTEL GET INTO THIS CONDITION.

Room was not ready at check in, did not accommodate requests like upper level floor as stated they would. Room did not have ocean view as stated. Roaches. Windows leaked during rain storm. Carpets are old and stained. Rooms need updating. A real shame because it is a cool old building and fantastic location but definitely not worth the price they are charging for the quality you receive.

returned another year to the resort, first two times i stayed in the villas, after calling week before and being told we would be in the villas again, on arrival and check in told we were not and never were told that. The suite although adequate was a lot smaller than the villas, thankfully my step daughter did not come as there wasn't an area for her to call her own. The bathroom was excrutiatingly small, nowhere to keep toiletries i had to keep them on the dresser in the bedroom and the kitchen had no counter space and the stove was falling apart-the burners were all crooked, couldn't straighten them to cook on. Spoke with many owners who relate a lot of deficiencies noted including old carpeting that was jumbled up in the hall outside the elevators on my floor, luckily never tripped. The plus side is obviously the location right on the beach. I do love the location and as there are no other options, probably will return however, will not be purchasing a timeshare as I had wanted to.

We took a spontaneous trip to the beach while in New Jersey. I found Legacy via Google with no prior knowledge of their chain.

The rate was very reasonable for what we got: full kitchen, (even a dishwasher) full bath, comfy bed.

The pool was large and clean. Walls were freshly painted.

The computer system was down when we got there but the gal at the desk was empowered to get us checked in anyway with no hesitation. I love good customer service.

This place is right on the beach and has a restaurant.

Right on the beach with a popular bar downstairs. It's a big summer local hang.

The place is in need of an update. Had some issues with the bathroom that were never resolved. Be careful going out on the balconies.

Bathroom was smaller then expected, the bed was worn out and not very comfortable . The carpet in the bedroom had runs in it . Positive is it's rite on the beach and pretty nice views if the bed wasn't worn out I'd probably have rated it three stars instead of the two also I think price was high considering the flaws mentioned plus the elevator was rather scary because it almost seems like you'd get stuck in it with the noise that it was making. Also no resort charge should be applied !

Great ocean view and atmosphere. Fun drinks and light, fresh food. Bartenders were friendly and hard working. Only downside was wait for food, not due to staff but due to frozen computer system. Would definitely return!

Though it was off season the customer service was excellent. Prices were great. The bar didn't open and when it did it looked like something of a Hitchcock but besides that great time. No one was there. The room was clean. Not a fan of you only being able to open your window three inches but hey I get it. I would spruce up the fixtures in the bathroom more and maybe a slightly darker shade of blue for all the rooms. They "game" room they had was pretty advanced even. I would def go back
