Not sure why this place is only rated 3.5 stars. I feel like it does deserve more. It was our first time visiting and we had a good time! The staff was nice, other residents were friendly, and they have a lot to do! You can rent golf carts too which is great to be able to get around! They also have a really great store! The bathrooms were plenty and clean. The only down side I would say is that the campsites are small and very close together. We went in the fall so wasn’t over crowded at this time but I can see it being very busy, crazy, and crowded during the peak season. Other then that I would recommend visits especially if you are a family with little ones or kids!

Complete fun all weekend long! Great time for the grand kids, swimming in the pools and waterslide. Mini golf and ropes course was a first for everyone! Movies, the only thing missed was the popcorn. Weather was hot but that’s whats the pools were used for. Check in was a bit of a wait but Pam did an amazing job and gave us great information on how to get to the cabin and general information. The campground is close to a local town which was great for shopping. See you next year!

This campground is definitely geared towards families with children. The tent sites were very small and had no privacy though. My family booked 3 sites in January and when we called to see where our sites were- we found out we were not placed together, even though we requested that in advance. After going up to the office they were able to get us two sites closer, but not next to each other.
The bathrooms were clean and quiet hours started at 11pm- everyone was very respectful at the camp. Staff was friendly as well. Just wish the sites were bigger and provided more privacy. Kids had a blast fishing and catching frogs- so there were some positives too!

The people that we interacted with were very pleasant and helpful. I had a hard time finding my site, and was given a nice golf cart ride with a employee who showed me were my site was. That was after finding out that my originally booked site was was booked by another camper, and I was given another site across the road, not a big deal, we were happy with our site. We were a little annoyed though when my original site was empty, my entire stay. We could have had that site and we would have been closer to the people we were camping with. Like I said, not a big deal, we made it work, just annoying. The bathroom were next to were nice, other than the fact that the toilet paper never seemed to be stocked, had to bring your own, again a little annoying. The water slide was nice, the kids liked it, when it was open, closed down at random times. The 2 pools were nice also. The ropes course also closed down at random times and the kids didn't get a chance to do that, even after they made the necessary reservation to go. Overall, the campground was nice and the the people were nice and friendly. For the amount of money we dropped, wish they would have more things open.

We had a great stay! I was concerned after reading some negative reviews, but I have next to no complaints about the campground! The pools were in great condition and clean. The bathrooms were very clean and well maintained, the gentleman who did a lot of the cleaning was very nice and so were the group of girls I saw doing many of the bathrooms. The lady who maintained the cabins across from our deluxe tent site was super pleasant and engaging.

Our deluxe tent site was fantastic. The gravel pad for the tent was a game changer! The brook flowing behind was a pleasant surprise when we arrived! The canopy over the picnic area kept our things dry during the thunderstorms that passed through. I think we lucked out with site 258, we weren't crowded at all where a lot of other areas seemed quite crowded.

We didn't try the river floating where we had little kids but from what we saw it looked nice.

I think my only criticism would be that the young kids checking us in or running the rope course (which was amazing) didn't have us fill out paperwork before hand. Front desk said to bring waivers after our stay which seemed odd. The ropes course didn't realize we hadn't filled out any. And the store could have used some more camp staples, it really was a store store not much of a camp store.

Beyond that we had an amazing time and would absolutely book again!
