On Saturday, May 19th, 2018, communities worldwide will be participating in “Kids Day America/ International™.” This is a special day dedicated to children’s health, safety, and environmental awareness in our community. There will be hundreds of communities participating in the twenty second year of this historic event, in which 5,000,000 children have benefited in 2,500 cities.
As local Chiropractors, we spend a lot of time both inside and outside of our practice helping children. It is for this reason that we chose to sponsor this monumental event in Oradell. We will provide essential information to all attendees on crime prevention, child safety, and environmental issues. We also will provide free Child Safety ID Cards with fingerprinting to all children who attend, courtesy of our local police department. Our local fire department plans to support the event by providing fire safety tips.
My staff and I are inviting all of our friends and neighbors to join us at this event. We expect appearances by Mayor Didio and other dignitaries, and a representative from the local newspaper at 12:00 pm. Our office will perform free health screenings, and we will distribute information on disease prevention and health promotion. We will also provide free balloons, snacks, and give-aways along with prize drawings! The event will benefit the Habitat for Humanity of Bergen County as part of this event to spotlight their involvement in providing decent, affordable homes for hardworking Bergen County families.
