This is the best place to go in the bern.. Be even better if it was 24hrs open But if they would make it ok to go to rock cory that would b the best place to go The water is clean an its the best place to go fishing.an swimming It could b a great place for a yearly thing with your family The trails r beautiful. But the ppl that run newbern r no it alls. You could go camping out there an everything. I caught serveral bass in one day, an they wernt under 4lbs. But its beautilful. An great for swimming. I gireenteed the crime rate would drop

Great boat launch area, kayak and canoe launch also, but not much else. A lot of open space to run your dog or chip a golf ball. Accessible parking and fresh water fishing docks. An old Blue Angel's A4 plane to look at. Lots of different trees planted here, Marsh Mallow, wild poinsetta, other flowers. Worth a stop but if you expect manicured lawns this isn't your kind of place.
