We were here for Christmas Day dinner. In retrospect it was a mistake! The place was organized for mass production. the menu was prefix Karma which we were not aware of ahead of time. There were two sources of live music, and since we were sitting in the middle we got the "pleasure " of hearing both of them at the same time. It was quite horrible. The service was good, the waiters were courteous and friendly. I would second another review that I saw which mentioned the bread-and-butter were the best, unfortunately. The food was mediocre, it was clear that it was made for mass production The taste was bland and the plates were not warm as needed. Desserts were okay, but really just okay.

They have over priced their menu. The restaurant was certainly quieter than last year. We will not spend Christmas Day at Lavenders in the future. Very disappointed, sea bass was terrible. Lamb ok. Service good but patio heaters were turned down. We had to move to a warmer table, we will look for a better option

Super food, amazing decor and ambiance, live music in the bar. I normally go for happy hour since the food is so good and prices really low. Sliders are great and fries quite a treat! Nick & Michelle Depras are great.

Excellent food, atmosphere and music, together with a friendly, attentive wait staff. Overall, a most enjoyable dining experience! I know, sounds almost like an ad, but it was a very nice dinner!

Wonderful experience, excellent food. I had the short rib ravioli, to die for. My husband had the pork chop, mouth watering. Everything we ate was delicious.

Exquisite food in a beautiful setting. There are some unusual dishes on the menu including a delicious Indian yellow curry. The courtyard is stunning. If you want a fine dining experience in La Quinta, go here.

We, two winter visitors, made our annual pilgrimage to the Lavender Bistro on Saturday 7 Jan. Reservation no problem, parking good, met by friendly Greeters and escorted to our table, We asked for and quickly were seated next to two heaters. So far so good. Our server (Elias) arrived with menus, and we told him that we would like to have a cocktail before dining. We explicitly said that we would like to hold off ordering dinner until we had an opportunity to enjoy our drinks, Our server, an unsmiling and stoical looking individual didn't seem to grasp what we wanted. He took our bar orders and they were brought to us. He then
wanted to take our dining order which we let him do. I again reminded him that we didn't want our dinner served before we had an opportunity to enjoy our drinks. What seemed to be less than five minutes later our meals were delivered by a busboy or someone other than our server. When our server showed up with our wine, I told him that I was not too happy about our dinner arriving too soon. He remarked something to the effect that they are pretty fast here. The meals were very good. Our server never stopped by and asked how things were going. We will keep going to the Lavender Bistro. We recommend that our server be given some better training .
