Very nice and clean cabin. The only downside was that the cabin we stayed in did not have any cell phone coverage and did not have WiFi, but that is not unexpected.

The Laurel Point Retreat was fantastic. Jim and Lorraine were a pleasure to spend time with. Their home is beautiful and the views are breathtaking. The breakfast they prepared in the morning was delicious and satisfying and all home made. I really enjoyed my time with these great people.

Fantastic Escape to beauty and tranquillity if you just want to get away and relax. Gorgeous in spring and fall, yet to try in winter. Small quaint town of Monterey, no traffic you need to take you own night life if you need that. You'll have your privacy and solitude for true relaxation . Home made heathy breakfast and very friendly owners. You can stay at the main house or have a private cabin fully equipped in the woods, we have done both. All our trips have been Great!/

.at the end first day of a long motorcycle trip, we were recommended this page by a local at the "General Store" nearby. He said once you see it, you'll want to stay there. He was right! Great place, great food, great people! If you're looking for a place to get away from it all, this is it. Gorgeous view from the mountaintop. Quiet, peaceful bliss. Slept wonderfully with the windows open to the fresh mountain air; woke up to the smell of sausage and bacon frying, freshly ground coffee, homemade jams and jellies. All around great experience.
