Its a good place to play ball and yo wall or jog. You can have a cookout and the y have a dog park.

Complex is a bit out away from everything. But not a bad place. Fields were pretty well maintained.

It very hard to rate -the park is beautiful; but the dog area is in needs some improvements ;there is not poop bags and the grass is not well maintained

We go there by boat each year for the annual July 4th fireworks display, which is fantastic. There is a large boat ramp area which services the north end of Lake Lanier. Also a great park and recreation area on the point.

Best boat ramp in town. Two playgrounds, and a spray ground that opens after Memorial Day. Walking trails and access to the lake. Great picnic areas, one pavilion and clean bathrooms. Wonderful park for day trips.

This park is awful. Took my daughter to the play ground and everything looked way outdated and decrepit. Most of the swings don't swing right because the amount of rust on the hinges. The "slider" rail on the playground was pretty much rusted up to the point where you couldnt even get it to move. Most of the paint was peeling off all the play grounds as well as the "splash" park. Good thing my daughter already had her tetanus cause one scratch from the play ground and she'd have lock jaw. Can you believe this place actually holds the annual fireworks show for Gainesville? Yeah all that revenue is just lining city official pockets instead of being put towards the beautification of the park. They added a "dog park" but it's a hike away from the actual park. Baseball field have been outdated for sometime now. This place just needs an overhaul bad!

A really nice park with beautiful lake views. We enjoyed the little educational lakeside walk and there are plenty of good picnicking spots.

There are several playground sets for children to enjoy though they are showing some signs of age.

In Summer, young ones will really enjoy the Splashzone within the park. Check the website for the current hours. There is a $2 entry fee and plenty of seating around the edges for adults. The area is enclosed and the equipment is colorful and varied offering a nice mix of spraying styles. My little one (2 and a half) loved running through the spray and didn't want to leave.

I wasn't at the 'bark park', just the regular park. But Laurel park is pretty great. I like to take the fam walking there sometimes, yes, the dog too. It's a very pretty park.

Laurel parks is always a nice relaxing visit. There's an excellent trail outlining the park for walking or running and plenty of green space for other activities as well.

Best public dog park by far! Everything else pales in comparison! It's safe, fully enclosed, with sanitary cleanup bags provided and a nice water supply for your dogs! Excellent! Only wish Birmingham had a place like this for my dogs !
