Mel was our advisor. Went in for an oil change. We love this Toyota dealership! I like that they say “you can fix this to make your car run better and longer, but not an emergency.” I feel like they are super honest and forthright about the work that needs to be done and they have given us a discount every time we have gone in. They are just awesome!
I had a great experience buying my new car here. Went in June to testdrive a new model, the C-HR. The color I wanted was not available in our market, but Craig B., our great salesman, helped me get it ordered. It took a while for it to be built and shipped, but it was worth it, and he was very helpful throughout the whole process. I love the car and had a great buying experience! Thank you! Would definitely return and recommend!
I scheduled an appointment for a 5000 mile interval maintenance. My vehicle was taken as scheduled, I was given a ride to my place of work and the work on the vehicle was completed on time and the vehicle cleaned. This was very convenient and I was treated professionally. Great Job!
So frustrated! Everyone is super nice and helpful when you are buying a car but that's where it ends. After paperwork signed, my car was taken to be washed, came back with no floor mats. I tried calling my salesman. No answer, his phone forwarded to front desk. I called service who transferred me to salesman which transferred me to front desk. Around and around like that for 3 weeks. They were so quick to play up the "limited edition" car I bought. What limited edition comes without floor mats? Such a simple request and quick fix, yet no one seems to care. After all the money spent, guess I have to spend more money and order the damn things myself.
I like American Toyota as the sales team and service are honest. The reason I give them 2 stars is for the poor phone service. The two times I called their company to find out whether or not my truck was ready for pick-up, I had to wait over 20 minutes each time to get an answer, as my service rep was out for the day and the left hand didn't seem to know what the right hand was doing. Other than that, I highly recommend this dealership. In this day and age time is a valuable commodity, something that I do not like to waste.
Not quite sure if they even deserve 1 star.
This is a terrible place for business! I wasn't thrilled at all with the car buying process at this dealership. The salesman we worked had very little knowledge of what he was doing. I was trying to cut him slack because he seemed new. He brought in his manager to help him. I know salesmen are pushy in general, but he was very pushy saying the quote we had gotten across town was not legimate that they were lying to us. Both the salesmen were not giving us direct answers to question we were asking, they just kept beating around the bush. It didn't make sense.
In the end, my husband and I did purchase a vehicle here. They included tinting our windows in the sale, which was nice. BUT, we told them we had a limited time frame window to get it done in. They said they would call us and make an appointment ASAP, since it was the end of the business day. We waited over a week. Our window of time dwindling away. So we brought it in, spur of the moment today right when they opened. We said we needed it by 2. They said ok no problem... it's almost 4 and no word and we're just sitting here waiting for our car. They don't see to care about their customers at all. If it was going to take all day they should have said so and we could have made other arrangements. Very poor customer service, in the future we will not be purchasing from this dealership.
On a side note, one positive, the finance lady we worked with, Jessica, was the most helpful and thorough with the finance part of the process. She was very knowledge and very efficient at her job.
One star is being generous! By far THE worst experience I've had any any dealership!!! I went in and spoke to a new sales guy Brandon and he somewhat tried for me but his manager was nothing short of a coward and did not care to talk to me or give me a straight answer on my trade in appraisal. He obviously had something to hide. Extremely rude and terrible customer service. First time I've ever tried this dealer and will NEVER go back. I will, of course, share my experience since I am a technician and I get to meet a lot of people.
TERRIBLE in every sense of the word!!!
I came to purchase a new vehicle I had been considering, but the sales staff were incredibly aggressive. They repeatedly insisted on signing to agree to purchase a car at their price and upon my reluctance to enter such a contract, gave an obnoxiously pushy sales pitch trying to convince me this was the car I *had* to have. The entire time, there was not an ounce of friendliness or even politeness that I received from other car dealers.
Disappointing does not begin to describe my experience at American Toyota, and you can be certain I will never give them my business in the future.
I recently purchased a new 4Runner and my wife and I were extremely pleased with the overall customer service from everyone. The salespeople (Clay and John) were very knowledgeable and helpful. The management team (Hud and Phil) were great in ensuring that we got a good deal on the new car and the trade. We also had a great low pressure experience from the finance team (Casey, Matias and Phil) as well, which my wife and I were happy about. We would both strongly recommend American Toyota for your next car purchase.
They have done a pretty good job for the most part if you are on them letting them know your watching. I find that I don't trust they really check my fluids or breaks. I have changed some stuff myself and they keep telling me I need purchase a lot of services for things that are already recently done. I believe they go off the requested maintenance report instead of providing the service they claim. Hopefully they improve now that their service department is more streamlined and new.
