Having worked with Larkin Mortuary in the past, I was aware of the professionalism, care and compassion its employees extended to a grieving family. Their service prior to, during and after the funeral of the son was exceptional. Many, many thanks in that regard to funeral director Aaron Miller. But Larkin's fine service did not end there. I was surprised -- and thankful -- to be alerted of Larkin's Aftercare program. Here Larkin's professionals (namely Aaron Lowe) extend valuable information on navigating the daunting tasks of settling the an estate -- paying taxes, closing (and not closing) accounts, paying bills, cancelling subscriptions, shutting off (and not shutting off) utility services, cancelling credit card accounts, etc. Larkin's service was extraordinary in every way and for that I thank them -- very much! Larkin did great for our family. Hyrum was especially helpful and compassionate. The time he allowed me to spend with my departed wife's body was spiritual and compassionate.
Nick did a great job at the viewing and the graveside services. Our family had a good time together to celebrate one of the great and noble ones.

My family received such compassionate care from Larkin. There was no pressure or rush to get decisions made. Every detail was explained. The team also has wonderful resources to assist the whole family during the difficult time following the loss of a loved one. Larkin is fantastic. We lost our 5-year-old son recently. It of course was the hardest thing to endure. Larkin was personal, tender, professional, patient, understanding, and loving. They took extra measures to ensure our boy was properly remembered and honored. Brian at Larkin was there day or night to answer all of our questions and guide us through. Larkin stepped in and handled the nuances of the funeral and burial so my family could focus on grieving and loving our boy. I can't express how much Larkin and Brian's acts of love meant to us. The service and love they provided is beyond value.
