A great little theater and pretty much the only cinema playing indie films in the San Diego area. Parking garage is easy (and free if you get your ticket validation.)
The seats are nice, and recline all the way back with a button. Our theater was clean and at a reasonable temperature (unlike some freezing cold theaters.) They also serve beer and wine, along with other snacks and refreshments. We will definitely be back in the near future.
Very friendly employees. Great, positive attitude. Easy parking (bring ticket for validation). Seats nice but not great. Lots of legroom and very clean
Great theater with some films that you won't find everywhere else. The recent renovation included the installation of really comfortable seats, and there is parking validation for the lot underneath the complex where the theatre is located.
Of course parking great. The cost has become outrageously expense, so has everything else. That does take away from enjoyment.
If you haven't been to this theater in a while it's really well redone, they have leather reclining seats, glass Exteriors, a resurface fancy Lobby, and a full bar it looked like. Redone approx June 2017. Wonder where they got the budget!
Been going there for years! Intimate atmosphere, always great service, love that they serve delicious hot tea. Recent renovation is great. So thankful this theater is in the neighborhood, always showing quality cinema.
Very comfortable recliners. Plenty of room. Nice renovations. Quality films, including many that are not available elsewhere.
Great selection of independent films, and with the recent remodel this theater is one of my favorites. They have fully automated reclining seats. The staff is very friendly and attentive (they changed the temperature for us). They also validate parking.
Good movies, great seats, tasty popcorn, drinks! and validated parking in garage - for a certain amount of time (not all day!). Across street are delicious restaurants for a full night out.
I really liked the vibe of this "discount theater." It was less than $10 a ticket for a 5pm showing. They gave a curtain speech at the beginning of our movie with the reminder to turn off cell phones, and announced that they would be showing 4 previews selected to go with our film. They were for non-mainstream movies, some foreign, some indy. It was really cool. The seats are comfy recliners and it was all at a similar level, unlike the normal stair set up of most theaters.
My only complaints would be that the projector's luminosity wasn't very bright, so certain bits of the movie looked off or dark (I could tell because I was seeing this film for the second time with a friend) and some of the speakers sounded like their drivers may be a bit blown out. Most people probably wouldn't notice though, so enjoy checking this place out!
They have upgraded their menu and now offer beer & wine. They are in the process of remodeling too. I'm looking forward to my next visit.
Great place to go see limited release movies. Think indie films and Oscar fodder. Close to many great places to eat and drink at afterwards.
The best! Hardly any commercials, and good movies. AND they've recently renovated. Awesome!
The recent renovation is lovely. Super comfy and huge reclining seats. Ticket prices are still reasonable. They are always offering the less-mainstream options. I also love the in-person speech preceding the previews.
